(Unknown POV)

As I laid in the darkness of my cave, a sudden movement caught my attention "Alpha there is some news that you must hear!" My beta Liam said while looking into my den. "What is the news?" I asked him

"Grace won't tell me she says that it is for your ears only." Liam said while his ears were down in annoyance. "Bring her in, along with out medicine, you can stay if you want." I told him with a demanding voice. "Yes alpha." Liam said while going outside.

The medicine was the first to walk in "Lucas where is Grace and Liam?" I asked "They are coming they should be here soon." Lucas said, while Liam and Grace walked into the den.

I looked carefully into Grace's eyes to see excitement in her gaze. "What is it Grace." I said calmly as she sat down in the middle of the den. "This is for your ears only." She said while glaring at Liam and Lucas.

"They can stay!" I said almost growling at her I waited patently as she took in a sigh "Fine but Rob wants to join the pack again." She said while holding her head high.

"He's not a werewolf!" I said jumping out of my sitting position and almost into a attack position. "he is now, and he wants to join." Grace said not even flinching from my sudden movement.

"Fine but he has to go through tribute." I said right until a howl of triumph came from the clearing of our pack camp. I quickly got out first to see Hunter a brown and with a german shepherd in his mouth.

"What is going on Hunter?" I demanded as the german Shepherd tried to get out of his grasp, "A bird told me that there was going to be another one joining our pack, also he crossed out territory." Hunter mumbled through the mouthful of fur.

"Thanks now He has a way to prove himself to the pack so when did you tell him to come?" I asked Grace who looked up at me "Tonight at moon high." She said while still looking into my eyes.

"Good Hunter, Liam go set up the clearing and make sure that it is good for a fight." I demanded then I looked at the remaining wolves who were looking at me.

I jumped up on top of my cave so that everyone could see me, "Pack! A new member- or shall I say a old member will be joining our pack! It's Rob and he is going to fight for his place in our pack by fighting this german shepherd!" I yelled out to the pack right before they all started howling in triumph.

I saw the german shepherd flinch at the name and his eyes held fear. "But if he wants to actually be in the pack he will have to kill this dog!" I yelled out into the sky.

The clearing was full of howls of triumph and happiness all but the german shepherd was happy, the german shepherd was terrified of what was going to happen......

(Rob's POV)

I ran to the front of the house to see that Preston was being attacked by two wolves, Mitch and Jerome was fighting off two wolves together, and Lachlan was fighting two wolves, 'where is Vikk?' I thought as I ran to Preston's side and managed to run off the wolves.

"What happened to Vikk?!" I asked worried about one of them being killed I looked into Lachlan's eyes to see that they held sadness and grief in them. "those wolves took them!" Jerome said exausted.

"Wait where is Andi, Matt, and Pete?" I then asked wondering where they were "They are in the house we sent them there to make sure Pete was safe." Preston said while avoiding my eyes.

'why won't he look at me like he use to?' I thought as I looked at Preston, shaking my head I looked into the stars "Now what?" I asked them "Now we try to get Vikk back." Preston said anger clear in his voice.

"Yep." Mitch agreed with Preston, sighing I went inside and back through the window to go after the scent trial.

'once again having to be outside again without the others knowing.' I thought as I walked over to where Grace was in the day, instantly I picked up her scent trail and followed it closely.

Looking around I notice little things like small ponds, larger trees, and even a softer path, 'worn down by others walking along it.' I thought as the scent of fear, and the sound of triumph roared in the air.

Finally I stepped into a clearing where a bunch of wolves stood around the clearing edges, "Rob you wish to join out pack right?!" A dark grey wolf said who was on a trunk, and not the giant rock on the other side of the clearing.

"Yes I am." I said bravely, as soon as I did loud howls of triumph echoed across the clearing, which only gave me confidence.

Then a silver wolf that I knew was 'Liam?' I thought as he brought out a german shepherd who was shaking so much that he could barely stand. "You must kill this dog to be in the pack!" The wolf on the log said.

I looked into the dog's brown eyes which held fear, and sadness, but soon realization replaced them. "I am going to join this pack!" I yell into the air.

Running at the german shepherd I knocked him off balanced, making him land on his side on the ground. Turning around I bit his hind leg and threw him cross the clearing.

"Ow!" I heard him say "To late this is your final breath!" I say to the dog, I saw fear quickly take over in the dog's eyes "I didn't want to do this Rob but-" The dog said before I bit into his scruff and shook him violently.

"Preston!" The dog said loudly 'wait how does he know me and Preston?' I thought but I soon had threw him again.

When I was about to charge right at the dog a pure black wolf with red eyes-
