In Past or Future!?

(Mitch POV)

We were watching the waves ripple across the surface, suddenly Preston was asleep with his head on my shoulder.

I looked over and he was fast asleep, and that wasn't the worst part of it I started to talk to myself! "Who made him promise that...." I looked behind me and there was the exact same werewolf.

"What do you want!" I yelled at the werewolf but I made sure that I didn't let anger into my voice. "Easy to finish off the rest of the family and in order for me to do that I have to kill Preston." 

I started to panic and got up I was in a protective stance in front of Preston wanting to protect him and everyone else.

"Even if you tried my brother won't let me go!" I looked behind me and there is a red wolf behind me instead of Preston. What if they took Preston! No don't think like that!

"Mitch step aside it is me Preston. Like I said I know this werewolf from a long time ago from when I killed two out of three of the wolves that killed my brother."

I did as Preston said until another wolf came out of the bushes behind the werewolf. Surprising everyone even the werewolf.

(Preston's POV)

What another wolf here but he looks familiar, I look at the werewolf growling. "Mitch, Preston!" I turn my head to the side and see Lachlan and Jerome run up behind the wolf. "Wait what happen to Rob!" I say to then which makes them jump in surprise.

"Rob turned into a wolf for some reason and made us follow now we see why." I look at Mitch and back at the werewolf growling "Welp I better get going!" the werewolf ran away and Rob tackled me while he was in his human form.

"Aw aren't they cute!" I heard Lachlan say as I was landed on the ground with Rob hugging me. "Sh-shut up!" I say as I start to be glad I was in wolf form. I finally get Rob to stop hugging me.

"Why did you run off Preston?" I look over to Jerome "Uh.." I sigh and decide to tell them about this place. "This place we are at right now is the very last place I seen my brother and is the place where he saved me and died.

I felt their stares at me and know they felt sorry for me. Until Mitch picked me up and threw me into the lake. "AHH!" I resurfaced "Mitch you will pay for that!" I yelled at Mitch.

"You have to get me first!" I thought "Hey Jerome Mitch wants to be thrown into the lake!" I yell and see that Jerome picks up Mitch and throws him into the lake. 

"Ha!" I yell at Mitch "I only got thrown in because you told Jerome that I wanted into the lake!" I laugh as Mitch tries to pull himself out of the lake.

"CANNONBALL!!!!" I look up and Rob jumps into the lake with us. "Wooo! That was fun!" I roll my eyes as me starts to splash me with water. "Jerome Lachlan are you two going to get in?"

Just as Jerome was going to answer I see Lachlan push Jerome into the lake and jump in with us.

(Rob's POV)

We were back at the camp and I kind of like this group but I don't know what they have in common but they stick together.

There is one thing I remember that Jerome battle axe were glowing when he was near us but so did my bow, did that mean that their weapons did that as well?

I went into the tent that I shared with Preston for the night and laid down but sleep didn't take over me I just sat there looking at the top of the tent knowing if I started to talk then I might wake up Preston who had turned in early.

It was just me and my thoughts, I mainly thought about how everyone back at my home would act with me not going to be back on the day we were suppose to get back.

But maybe with the new people in my life will I be better off. But then again so far they have been nice to each other "but I don't think I fit in" I realize that I said the last part.

"What do you mean you don't fit in much." I jump from Preston saying that "I-Uh..." I laid back down from being scared by Preston. But I noticed something I could tell that I was blushing a little....

(Preston's POV)

After I apparently scared Rob, I felt like he wasn't talking about his home town but our group. I sighed knowing that I had made a bad first impression. Thinking about it Rob was the one who did get my mind off of my brother.

Could it be love? No it couldn't, it can't be possible, but I can't lie I regret snapping at Mitch and the others. I let sleep take over me as I start to fall asleep I hear Rob say something. "If only....." and then sleep takes over.

"Preston wake up!" I got up quickly but Mitch had something else in mind....he poured Ice water on me! "Ahh! hey! now the ground is wet!" "that's what you get for sleeping as long as you did!"

I look up to see Mitch laughing with Rob, Lachlan, and Jerome, behind him. I growled knowing that they could hear me. "What time is it?" I ask while getting out of the tent. "It's eight in the morning" I look at Mitch letting him remember that I usually don't get up until noon. 

"I know, I know! But we need to get some things in order to survive especially with five people and a dragon!" I then though wait where has the dragon been? "Where have the dragon been?"

"On he went to a cave near by and hunted out there." I look at Lachlan like he was a idiot, I soon realize that everyone else was doing the same. "What is there something on my face?"

I then face palm "Did you realize what you said?" "No what did I- Oh." I laugh at the realization expression on his face.

But there is two answers that I can't get from anyone, why did I not run back to my home when I had the chance, and did they effect the answer?

I was going to start the day by doing my part which was to gather wood untill....
