The Pack Of Heros *Old*

A lie...

(Vikks POV) 

As Leon walked around the room I was studying his sketches it looked like it was from another world it was like he was trying to take something from someone, from the sketches it looked like a gem 'was he going to steal a gem from a town or something?' I thought confused.

I looked at the other sketches but none of them had a town in them, I heard the door slam open and in came Leon, 'when did he exit the room!?' I thought while he started to walk around ranting on about power crystals.

"What are power crystals?" I asked him as he walked up to the sketches, "Power crystas are what holds your powers." Leon said to me before a green crystal appeared in front of me, I stared in confusion at it until it flickered and disappeared into thin air.

"Ugh..It still doesn't work!" Leon said punching the wall but I could tell that he regretted hitting the wall, I felt guilt run up my spine as I knew that I had let my guard down even though I never did that.

I didn't want this, I didn't want Lachlan put not only himself but Preston, Connor, and Lyric in danger as well! I head the door get kicked open by Lachlan and he had his dragon with him, "Let Vikk go Leon." Lachlan warned as he walked closer towards Leon.

"Where is Preston, Connor, and Lyric?" Leon asked walking backwards like nothing was going on, until Lachlan punched him to the ground, "Release Vikk." Lachlan threatened showing no signs of stopping if Leon didn't do what he said.

Then I noticed something Lachlan wasn't just threatening Leon, but he was using his powers against Leon by strength. "What if I don't?" Leon tested to see what would happen but that was a mistake because Lachlan hit him again but he hit a wall that was far away.

"What the...." I said scared but happy that Leon was far away from me, "Get Vikk out of here quick I will hold Leon off!" Lachlan said to someone at the door, I looked over to see Lyric and Connor, "Where's Preston!" I asked while they got me out of the bindings that held me.

"Sick, now let's go!" Connor said as he put me on his back while he was in wolf form, I held on to Connor as they ran through the doors, they  took random turns that almost threw me off of Connor.

I heard lightning above, but looking around I saw that the walls of the building had cracks in them and even some of them fell, "We need to get out of here quickly!" Lyric said while running ahead of Connor.

I could tell that this place was collapsing in, but the door to the outside was just a few doors away, "We have to hurry!" I said as I almost fell off from the sound of thunder nearby, suddenly the building collapsed in front of us causing Connor and Lyric to stop in their tracks.

"Where now!" Connor said looking around for another escape, I got off of Connor and shifted into a border collie I jumped onto the large rubble pile, my agility was almost perfect until lightning hit the roof above me making more rubble fall, burying me.

I moved around trying to get the rubble off of me or at least find a way out, I was able to find a pathway towards surface of the rubble pile, but it kept getting smaller and smaller until I couldn't go on anymore, thinking I shifted into chihuahua and started going forward again.

I kept going until I reached the surface to see that Connor and Lyric was nowhere to be seen, the lightning and the thunder had stopped, everything was quiet until a evil laughter was heard coming from where me Connor, and Lyric had came from the exact same room.

Running towards it I shifted back to myself to see through the window into the room, I saw that Lachlan, Connor, and Lyric were locked in cells, the bars were close enough so that they couldn't get out but far enough apart to put your arms through.

"How am I going to get them out of there?" I asked myself making sure the volume of my voice was low, a tap on my shoulder took my attention, I turned around to see Mitch and Andi "What are you guys doing here!" I said controlling my volume.

"Preston warned us of this." Mitch said pushing me aside to see through the window, "Man Preston can be scary sometimes..." I said looking at Andi, "The same could be said for me." Andi said leaning against the wall.

"What do you mean?" Mitch asked not moving from the window, "Ask Preston when we get home okay then you will understand." Andi said getting off of the wall and crossed her arms, "Okay but Vikk you find the keys and get them out of the cages." Mitch said backing up from the window.

"Okay but what about you two?" I asked while Mitch was looking through his pockets, "We will hold off Leon." Mitch said looking at me "Once you get them out of the cages, yell for a teleport." Mitch said turning his attention towards the door.

"Okay ready?" I asked Andi who was looking at the door as well, "Lets get this over with." Andi said right before they both ran into the room, I quickly sneaked in as the battle started and easily found the key for the cages in the sketches.

I looked at the three cages to see that Lachlan was hurt badly, I ran over towards Connor's cage and unlocked him, "Get the other two out of the cages and yell when you get them out." I told him before turning around and running towards the battle.

Somehow I knew that Leon was trying to do something with power crystals, 'I'm not going to let Leon harm anyone in the pack' I thought as I ran towards Leon with all of my powers ready.....
