Aurora's POV ~

"How is she?" Luke whispered.

"Physically she's just about perfect. She has a few bumps and bruises littering her body, but that most likely was just from being in the woods for however long she was there. Mentally, whatever she went through obviously affected her." The doctor told us.

"What do you mean?" I wondered.

He pulled the clipboard up to his chest and sighed.

"She swears on her life that it was vampires that took her. We started off gently trying to explain to her that vampires weren't real, but she wasn't buying it. We finally had to just drop it as we didn't need her to get upset." He said.

"Oh fuck, that's probably my bad." Luke groaned.

"How would you be implicated in this?" The doctor asked.

"I once told her, before she was taken, that it was probably vampires behind this. It was a joke, and I only told her that as a spooky tale for Halloween." Luke replied.

"Well, joke or not, for some reason that's what she has told herself happened. I'd suggest not bringing it up to her. I think for now while the police start their investigation into this, just take her home and lie low. We'll have your city's police patrol around the house for her and your sanity. Just stay by her though, alright?" The doctor told us.

"Alright, thank you." I whispered.

"Why don't you go and get your car started for her. We'll get her out to you." He said.

"Alright, thank you." I replied, heading back out to the car with Luke.

"So, it must have been bad if she's claiming fucking vampires." Luke whispered.

"I know, I don't even want to think about what happened to her." I shuddered as we reached the front once more, as Luke got into the driver's seat.

"We don't have to worry about that anymore. Look." Luke told me, nodding to the front.

There was the same doctor we had just talked to, rolling Elizabeth out in a wheelchair.

Physically, she looked the same, but right at the moment she almost looked high. There was a look of anguish in her eyes.

"Hey, you!" I cheered, my face hurting at how big of a smile I was wearing right now.

"Hi." She whispered, getting up off the chair and getting herself into the backseat.

"We have her something to calm her down, she may seem distant or even a little hostile, but it's just the drug." He explained.

"Oh, ok." I sighed, hating the blank look on her face.
