I drove into my garage, shut the door and ran into my house as fast as I could.

I ran so fast I actually ran straight into Luke.

"Oh shit, sorry." I gasped.

"It's ok, I'm just fucking glad to see you." He cheered, wrapping me in his arms.

"Yeah, what the fuck is up? They've never once changed cities? It happened in Milwaukee...I drove from there to here in 2 fucking hours! What's stopping them?" I yelled.

"Woah, it'll be ok." He cooed.

"Will it?" I asked him.

"Yes. You tend to be a very sassy thing, so whoever is taking those girls...if they took you, they'd give you back in 10 minutes tops." Luke joked.

"I could take that as offensive, but I'm taking it as a compliment," I told him.

"Good." He cheered.

Since it was about 2 in the morning, I went downstairs with Luke and fell asleep rather quickly on the couch.

The Next Day

Noon -

"Hey, wake up, sleepyhead," Aurora exclaimed, as a loud horn went off.

"Ugh, what the fuck?" I groaned, putting my pillow over my head.

"It's not even morning anymore, dear. Wake up, smell the roses and say a prayer that tonight is the last night we have to worry about staying down here." Luke said, with a bit of a giggle.

"I just wish someone would catch the bastard today before night falls," I grumbled.

"Even if they don't we'll be fine. I mean if things really were to get bad, you have your baseball bat, Aurora has her knife, and I have my gun locked up. We'll be fine, I promise you." Luke assured me.

"Ok." I sighed.

"Good. Now go get dressed and we will have fun today until later tonight, We'll even go and have a nice lunch." Aurora told me.

"Alrighty." I said, running up the stairs going into my room.

Once I was there I put a little fun fall dress on, grabbed my purse, and headed out with them to Luke's car where he drove us to a nice restaurant.

"So how did last night go?" She asked me as we were seated in a booth.

"It went fine. I got the inventory that Dan needed, stopped and got a coffee at this nice little diner, and then once I got your call, I headed straight home. I'll get the stuff in my car to Dan on Monday." I said.
