Elizabeth's POV~

It had been two full days now that I've been back home, and while it was obviously a blessing, but I was on high alert 24/7. I was starting to feel like a crazy person.

Thankfully, the city was kind enough to keep patrol for us and every fifteen minutes there was someone driving by. At first, my biggest worry was that within 15 minutes Chris probably could have half this city killed if he really tried, but how was I to tell an officer that and not get licked up in a looney bin?

What scared me was that I might actually be safer in a place like that rather than my house, but I obviously enjoyed being around Luke and Aurora once more.

I could see it in their eyes that they thought I was nuts about the vampire thing, but I saw the strain too. The strain of wanting to believe me.

It now was just past midnight, and Luke was fast asleep in the guest bedroom as Aurora and I sipped some tea at the kitchen table.

"Tell me." She whispered.

"Tell you what?" I asked.

"I don't know, anything! I know something horrible happened to do, and you're saying it's vampires. Don't go into details of things you don't want to bring up, but please just tell me something so that I can help you. Help me understand what's going on in your mind." Aurora begged.

"If you won't believe they were vampires, you won't believe or understand anything else I have to tell you." I sighed.

"I won't lie, I wanted to put you in a fucking nut house when I first heard you say the word vampires. To be honest though, as time goes on though I thought more and more about the night you left. It was so weird Elizabeth, and things never made sense. Do you remember much of that night?" She wondered.

"You know...I don't think so. I just remember that I was going to to go take a shower, and then I woke up in this house tied to a chair. It all went downhill from there." I sighed.

"Alright, at least that part makes sense, that they knocked you out or drugged you so you didn't remember what happened next. What doesn't make sense is how they managed to get you out with no noise whatsoever. Plus, that was an ungodly amount of blood on the floor." Aurora said, trying to mull this whole situation over.

"They're vampires. They're magical and shit, Aurora. I don't know what else you want me to say!" I groaned.

"Just keep going, tell me what happened next." She demanded, sitting up straighter in her chair, ready to soak in every last detail I was willing to give to her.

"Well, once I woke up there were two guys in the house with me and who I wrongly assumed to be the head honcho took a call from another guy. I managed to break free, but once I got to the stairs I ended up getting in a tussle with a fucking demon named Kuza." I explained to her.

"Woah, let me stop you there. How do you know he's a demon?" She asked me.
