richie opened his mouth so that the water would enter it, and then he spit it at eddie. eddie screamed "EW RICHIE!! THAT IS SO UNSANITARY!"
while richie just sat there laughing so hard tears found their way to the corners of his eyes.
stan rolled his eyes, knowing he was gonna do it to someone. "richie, that's not funny" stan said, glaring at him
"actually, ih-its pruh-pruh-pretty fuh-funny" bill says, giggling slightly
"oh has big bill turned to the dark side??" richie asks, widening his eyes, gasping and covering his mouth
"wuh-wow richie, yuh-you can't guh-guh-go, like, one suh-second wih-without making a juh-joke or buh-being suh-suh-sarcastic" bill sighs
"you're just noticing this now?" eddie asks while hitting richie on the arm
"oh, eds, your mom certainly didn't mind" richie winks "tell her i can come over tonight"
"richie, that wasn't even a good one, and no, thats gross" eddie says
"eds, my dear princess, are you jealous of your mom?" richie smirks "also, you didn't tell me not to call you eds, eds"
"don't call me eds" eddie says
"okay, babes" richie says
"eds is better" eddie sighs
"ar-are yuh-you guys gonna kuh-kuh-keep buh-bickering or have suh-some fuh-fun?" bill asks
"your right, ok let's have some fun!" richie says, his lips tugging upwards, he takes in the scenery. the sun is setting, so the sky is a deep orange with a bit of pink.
richie picks up eddie without a warning
"trashmouth, what are you doing?" eddie asks, very confused
without any further notice, richie throws eddie, who screams like a girl "richie what the fuck?" eddie screams
"funny, that's exactly what i did to your mom" richie winks
"beep beep, richie" eddie sighs, he looks over to see stan and bill in a splash war, and ben, beverly, and mike trying to do tricks under water.
"ok guys, this is fun, but we have to get back before my mom murders all of you guys." eddie says, smirking.
everyone nods in agreement, and starts to swim to the shore, eddie puts on a towel and starts drying himself off.
when they start walking back richie puts his arm around eddie's shoulders, but eddie assumes it's a friendly thing
"oOoOoOhHhHh" beverly says, wiggling her eyebrows at them "how romantic"
ben chuckles "i didn't think richie to be the romantic type"
"well he has a girlfriend, so he has to be somewhat romantic" mike says
eddie frowns, remembering richie's girlfriend
eddie never had a chance anyway...
