richie pulled eddie into a warm embrace, hesitantly, eddie returned the gift of a hug. after a couple seconds, richie pulledaway, pecking eddie on the cheek. eddie flushed pink while richie giggled.

richie ignited the car, drumming his nails on the steering wheel. "so, what should i call you? eds, babes, eddie spaghetti, or spaghetti man?"

eddie sighs, a little upset with all of richie's teasing and flirting, "definitely not eds or babes, you should call your girlfriend babes, not me."

richie's mouth tugged upwards, "eds and babes it is then!" richie exclaimed.

eddie rolled his eyes and looks out the window, the sunset a beautiful color of deep color of pink and a light shade of purple. it swirled together, making him forget all of his issues. he was getting lost in it, but couldn't. richie was driving too speedily. richie drives alot faster than beverly, maybe even over the speed limit.

eddie thougjt about how mad his mom might get and frowned. as soon as eddie turns 18, he's getting the fuck out of this shit hole called derry. he's sure of it.

his eyes trailed to his cast and he smiled at the memory of the the 'lo(s)ver' cast.

"eds! are you ok?" richie frowned, his eyes looking at his cast, noticing that it says 'loser'

eddie nodded, turning on his heel, before rice grabs his good arm. he takes out a red sharpie.

eddie scrunches his face up, "are you gonna put that on my skin?"

richie snorts, and eddie smiles, it's cute, eddie always thought that, and always will.

"no, of course not! but don't look." richie says, and eddie squeezes his eyes shut. richie uncaps the marker and can tell richie's writing on his cast from the noise.

richie stops, straightens his posture and admires his handy work. "your a lover, now, eds." richie smirks, kissing eddie's cheek. eddie opened his eyes, a deep pink dusting onto his cheeks

he looks at his cast, it now says "lover", and eddie brightens, looking at richie lovingly.

eddie sighed, his eyes trailing to richie.
