this is pretty much a filler chapter sorry
when richie woke up, eddie was gone, but he didn't mind. he knew that eddie's mom would freak out. he checked the time and frowned slightly, 9:30. he didn't want to get up, so he just swiped through his phone.
at 11:30, richie decided to go for a walk. maybe to the quarry-- he didn't know yet. he thought about riding his bike, but he figured he'd walk instead, since he barely ever did.
so, he got up and walked outside. but instead of the sunny, beautiful morning he had hoped for he got a stormy, rainy morning. he sighed, but whatever. he wasn't going to let this ruin his day, so he carried on.
he got to the quarry and decided that, even though it was raining and storming, he was gonna jump. and he did.
he wished he had jumped with eddie, but, it was too late now. plus, he would probably yell about richie getting aids or something.
he felt as though nothing could ruin his day when he got out, but unfortunately, something did. as he walked around the streets of derry, the bower's gang approached him.
"hey fag, where's your gay lovers?" henry sneered, coming closer to him. although henry was tall and condescending, his insults barely affected richie.
"gay lovers? last time i checked you were sucking off your dad when i was doing your mom-" and with that, henry punched richie in the face. richie hit back and henry stumbled before kicking richie in the nuts. he doubled over and henry kicked him. after a few more punches and kicks, he walked away with a chuckle.
richie laid there and sighed, he stayed there a bit before deciding he could pull himself together walk home.
