it's been almost a week since we first got everything set up. by we i mean hagakure and i. the shop had looked nice, not exactly what i envisioned but still, i enjoyed it. but in that time, there's been a bakery across from us that we have yet to visit. hagakure and i arrived as usual and she swung open the door this time.
"in a day or two we'll be able to start up business." i commented, entering the now familiar shop.
"well, before we do i think it's a good idea to meet our competitors!" hagakure said, full of energy as always. i chuckled before looking over at her.
"impressive. i didn't know you were invisible and could read minds." she giggled at that.
"dangit! didn't think i'd be caught." she said before turning back towards the door. i smiled at her remark before following her along. it was obvious that they were open, as they had a running business and our had just blossomed. not to mention the blonde, spiky haired male inside. i opened the door and held it for hagakure. the blonde haired boy had looked at me funny.
"are you fucking insane?" he asked, his voice kinda gravely. i simply tilted my head to the side as hagakure sighed.
"no, he's not. hi, i'm here!" hagakure said before the male looked around confusedly.
"she's right there, it amazes me how some people don't see a floating pair of clothes." i said, as this person had been a bit rude. before i knew it a dark green-haired male came from the back room with a box.
"kacchan, don't be so rude to our customers. they're people too." he said, his voice much softer and calm than 'kacchan.'
"just extras."
"what did we tell you about that!" he seemed to be a bit taken aback by the comment, but put the blue box on the glass display counter. "anyways, here's your order kacchan." he said with a sigh, which made me empathize with him a bit. it seemed 'kacchan' tired him out too.
"so, it's kacchan? that's an adorable nickname!" hagakure commented cheerfully. almost immediately the green haired male and kacchan looked over at her.
"shut up, you opaque bastard." he growled, seeming mad. the part that gave it away was that his hands had tiny crackles that looked like little bursts, almost a threat.
"kacchan, just pay and be nicer!" there suddenly was another girl. she had short brown hair and rosy cheeks. she stood in the doorway of the back room after calling out kacchan.
"fine." he put money down on the countertop, and took no change as he left with the box.
"i'm sorry about that, he can get that way sometimes. are you here to pick-up or place an order?" the green haired male asked, leaning on the counter a little.
"we came by to say hello, we're across the street from you." i commented, pointing my thumb towards our shop. they both made an 'ohh' sound in unison.
"well, i'm ochaco ururaka and that's deku!" the girl said as she approached the counter with obvious excitement.
"i-it's actually izuku midoriya, but if you really want you can call me deku." the boy commented, a bit more shy now. i smiled and hagakure was clearly happy.
"well, i'm shouto todoroki. this is tooru hagakure, it's nice to meet you."
