Chapter 10

Alexander's POV

I'll admit I'm a player but I can't let those pictures get out. I mean it's been since high school and yet he still has them. I had to admit Thomas was still as attractive as ever. I felt bad for what I did but then I met John and everything was better.

But then I popped the promise ring and John ran. I asked Madison out because he was new and knows absolutely nothing about me.

I look around and see a shocked John, tears falling down his face, his mouth open.

"JOHN!" I yell.

"You jerk!" He responded harshly. I was hurt but kept my composure.

"It's not what it looked like!"

"Really because it looked like you were sucking Jefferson's mouth off!"

"Johnny! Please!" I plead. I'm desperate, and I need John. What was I even thinking? I'm so stupid. I lost the person I love most in the world. Why would I try to move on so quickly?!

He looks at me one more time, disappointed, and turns, walking away.

Madison's POV

Thomas enters about 10 minutes after he left looking slightly flustered. He seems like he just saw a ghost. He's flushed like he was running and looks scared.

He sits down next to me and tries to flatten his hair. I pull up my email and try again

To- Thomas Jefferson

From- James Madison

Subject- What happened?

You look weird. What happened? I can tell somethings wrong Thomas.

I sigh and wait for a text back. A few minutes later, my laptop dings.

To- James Madison

From- Thomas Jefferson

Subject- Re: What happened?

Oh, you know how Alexander and I are.

Thomas's POV

How Alex and I are.

Well, he'll assume we were just fighting, but and I'm not really lying. I mean, he doesn't need to get hurt. He seems soft. This would hurt him.

To- Thomas Jefferson

From- James Madison

Subject- Re: What happened?

Well, here's my phone number. You should probably have it so that if you need to contact me at home. (***)-***-****

I look at the email in surprise. Did he give me his phone number?

I grab my phone out of the pocket of my hoodie and text him so that he has my number.

Hey! This is Thomas.

Okay. Thanks.

I look over at him and tap him on the shoulder. He jumps, and says "Thomas! Don't scare me like that!"

I chuckle a little. He's cute when he's flustered

Madison's POV

Well, today was definitely eventful, but it's about time I got home.

So, I have my school's open house tonight, and school is starting on Tuesday. I just wanted you guys to know that I will either update a lot more or a lot less when school starts lol.

But anyways, this is mostly a filler chapter, but I hope you guys liked it :-)

Also, does anybody have any really good ideas on how to format texting? I dunno. I'm not sure how I want to do it yet. If anybody has a way they like that they'll share with me. Thanks!
