The Black family has been torn.With two of the cousins disowned,the rest have been told to decide how they are.
Regulus is much like his elder ex-brother and his twin sister,but he couldn't understand being told to choose his brother and sister or his parents.Evelyn hadn't left the family yet,but knew what would happen if she did.
Narcissa had already been told what to choose.She had already lost a sister and Bellatrix convinced her she would loose both if she left.Bellatrix had already said she was loyal to her family,even though disowning her would be too late as she is married.
Narcissa,Regulus,and Evelyn had a hard choice to make.But who could blame them?Their entire lives were planned out for them,but they wanted more.They needed more.
“Regulus,Evelyn!”echoed the voice of their mother throughout Grimmuald Place,“Come join us in the tapestry room.Narcissa is here!”
The twins Blacks went down from Regulus's room to the ragged room that held the ancient family tapestry.Evelyn was wearing black leggings under a pair of high waisted jean shorts along with a crop top.Regulus had a pair of jeans on with a green button up.The two looked at their elder cousin who was dressed in a silver skirt with a green tank top.
Walburga looked at her niece and children with disgust,as they wore muggle attire.She looked at the tapestry before saying,“Today you will choose.Move along with our family legacy and stay this life or join the blood traitors who were disowned.”
“Blood traitors?You're describing yourself now,”spat the late Euphemia Potter who had been there just to pick any of them up if they left.
“Potter,you had your choice when you left us.”Walburga said plainly,“Regulus as the heir you will go first.What is yout choice?”
“I er I'm joining Sirius ,I can't stay here and have him as a brother but I don't have that as choice,”Regulus said.Evelyn chuckled softly as her twin walked over to Euphemia Potter.
“Verywell,”Walburga said coldy,“Evelyn?"
“Mum,listen to this very closely.Until you let Regulus,Narcissa and I not choose our parents or our siblings I won't be considered a Black...I'd rather call Eupehmia a mother then you,”Evelyn said as she now stood next to her twin,"and if Cissy is smart she'll realize it to."
“I d-”Narcissa began.
Walburga rudely interrupted,“Narcissa is to stay.We need atleast one to keep us in order,”She ordered as she casted a charm and burned off the recently finished part of the tapestry,with the twins smiling faces.
Regulus amd Evelyn felt as if they had just been set free when their names were burned of the Black tapestry.It was noticiable from the top,the further down you went,the more disownments there were.
They were no longer Regulus Acturus Black and Evelyn Ursa Black,but Regulus and Evelyn Potter-as thet perferred to take up that family's name amd they allowed it.All was well.
