Star

Like most kids, Goth was playing on the playground. His feet gently kicked up, enough to swing him up just a tad, his eye focused on the dirt below. He was enjoying himself until someone shoved him off. Goth whimpered as he hit the ground, he looked up at the kids around him, one moved closer, laughing "I told you guys! This is him! The weirdo with the star soul!" the kids friends looked at Goth, "prove it!" one of them shouted. Goth whined as he was shoved towards the group and his shirt was lifted, in the middle of his ribs was a small dark star shaped soul. The kids looked at him before backing away. "He's a freak!" the kid holding him spoke. Goth began to squirm around before biting the kids hand. The small boy dropped him and looked at his friends as Goth took off.

Goth burst through the door and began to bawl his eyes out, catching the attention of the other person in the room. Geno stood up and looked towards the door. Once he saw his son he rushed over, "what's wrong?" he asked softly Goth looked up "am I a-a weirdo?" Goth asked Geno gently smiled and gave his son a gentle hug, "Oh. Of course not" he smiled as he pet his sons head. Goth hid his face behind his father's hand, sniffling, Geno saw some a few scratches upon his son's face. He ran his thumb over them "oh baby, what happened to you?" He gently prodded, his son scrubbed away his tears and produced another hiccup. "The kids a-a-at the par-park
C-Call-Called me a weirdo" Just as Geno was about to responsed he was cut off by his sons voice "did da-dad m-make a mistake sa-saving me?" "No-No, no don't think like that, your father wanted you to live, that's why he gave you his soul. Goth, you aren't a weirdo, you're remarkable, you were his little star" "do, do you think he'd still think that?" Geno smiled, allowing a few tears fall from his face, "No doubt about it, little star. Our precious little star".
