The smallers wails of agony echo throught the walls, black veins run up his body and stain the hands the sickly color, but it gets his point across to the knife wielding skeleton across from them. He covers his ears and collapses to the ground, but the wail never wavers, not even as a hand gently grasps his back, careful not to touch the burning wings that are summoned. It isn't until Killer has left, do the wails fall to hard pants, Goth is shaking badly, and he can't catch his breath, which you'd think skeletons didn't need, he too collapses onto the ground. The hand on his back reaches around and weakly pulls him closer, Palette's breathing matches his own, but it seems to be in pain caused by the effort. "Shh, Shh. It's- It's ok Goth." The smaller seizes and gasps. His hands still stained black, and a liquid matching the color leaks from his mouth. His body aches and soul burns. He can't see very well, but he can make out the wavering gradient eyelights, "It's ok Goth, I've got you now" and it's this statement that lulls him to sleep.

Palette has been walking for a while, and everytime he looks over at the tree line, there is this white bird sitting and watching him. He stops and stares at it, trying to figure out when it started following him. He had left Goth's house not too long ago, and sure for some odd reason having this weird bird watch him walk home provided some comfort, in a weird way. The walk home had him go through some of the more sketchy parts of town. And everytime he looked, the white bird wouldn't be far behind. It isn't til he reaches the last alley way, does he realize that the bird that was following him, seemed to have feeling attached to it. Which was weird. Palette tried to brush it off, he hasn't gotten used to these powers so it's probably normal for animals to emote so strongly.
When he gets home, Dream is waiting for him like usual, he walks up the porch, smiling as his dad hugs him, Dream turns to the drive way, and Palette can now see the bird is sitting there, watching, Dream smiles "Thank you Goth, you can go home now." Palette double takes, to the bird and his dad, "wait what?" Dream snikers at his son, "isn't it obvious? Surely you knew that right?" There's a gust of wind, and sure enough where the bird once was, now stood his friend. "Actually, I never told him." Goth spoke, Dream's snicker turns into a small chuckle. "Oh? And why not-" "I'm so confused" Palette muses. "I can turn into a crow. I learned this like what, two maybe three years ago." "And you never told me!?" Goth laughs which insights the adult to laugh along at his sons exclamation. "I thought it was common knowledge. My dad can turn into a crow." Goth counters "But you don't have all your dad's powers!" Palette claims, and while his son and his sons friends little situation is funny indeed, Dream decides that it's best if Goth gets going. "Alright boys, I think it's best if Goth get home." Palette watches as his friend shifts back, almost like nothing and the white bird was off leaving Palette confused.
