"What do you think about dying your hair blonde?"
Jeff stopped clinging to Jack for a minute and looked up at him in confusion.
"What?"
Jack's hand slowly made it's way onto Jeff's head, intertwining loose black strands inbetween his fingers.
"What about it baby?"
Jeff laughed teasingly, "That's funny Jack."
EJ tensed as he sat up, removing Jeff's head from his chest. He cocked an eyebrow at the smaller male who sat up as well.
"Jack stop. You're being weird."
He [Jack] clenched his fist tightly
EJ looked at him and seconds later the right side of his face twitched slightly. He breathed in deeply and exhaled. "Jeffy why don't you just be a good boy and do it for me?"
Jeff sat up on the bed and scooted an inch away from him. "What the fuc-"
EJ reached out and grabbed a handful of Jeff's raven black hair. He fisted it in anger, his breath seeping through his clenched teeth. "He was so much more fucking obedient than your ass."
Tears peaked at the corner of his eyes as he yelped in pain. "W-what? Who's he?"
EJ threw Jeff to the floor and walked out of the room, leaving the confused boy to rub at his scalp. The sting of abuse still fresh in his mind.
"What the hell?" Jell murmured to himself. He made his way to the bathroom mirror to look at the damage.
He's never been so aggressive with Jeff. Usually he was the type to soothe him with comforting words and smother him with kisses in the morning.
Jeff got up quickly and followed EJ out of the room, but before he could catch up with him, he bumped into Masky.
"Hey..." Jeff spoke quietly, eyes frantically searching for his boyfriend.
Masky scoffed, "Whatever..."
Jeff snapped his eyes at the older man and shifted his body uncomfortably in annoyance. "What the hell is your problem?"
Jeff shoved at Masky's left shoulder. Masky stood silent. Instead of fighting back, he said, "Why is your head bleeding?"
Jeff quickly brought his hand to the area that had been roughly handled with and brought his fingers into view of his eyes. They were stained red.
"I-I must have hit my head when I was getting up today."
Masky, once again, scoffed. "Serves you right," he said aloud and then muttered just low enough that the other male wouldn't be able to hear, "...for taking my Toby away."
Confused, Jeff followed the older man who gestured for him and they walked downstairs into the living room. He sat on the couch and Masky left the room, coming back with a first aid kit.
"Pft, I don't need that. I'm fine."
"Tell that to your scalp. You're head is bleeding so much that your hair could be dyed red at this point." Masky joked, but Jeff tensed.
"Blonde." Jeff stated, staring out blankly at the wall on the other side of the room.
"Blonde? What?" Masky stopped unwinding the medical wrap and looked across at him in confusion.
"Blonde. How do you think I'd look blonde?" Jeff repeated, shifting his eyes over to Masky. He swallowed a heavy breath.
"I- uhm..huh??" The older man's eyebrows furrowed together in heavy confusion. "I think you hit your head pretty hard."
"J-just give me an answer!" Jeff yelled.
"I mean uhm. It'd be different, kind of weird..."
Jeff opened his mouth to speak, but then closed it shut again, losing himself in his own thoughts.
"I'm just going to wrap your head before you say anything else." Masky mumbled, slightly afraid and worried for the jet-black haired male.
After a few minutes, Masky cut the end of the bandage and stuffed the rest back into the box that sat in his lap.
"There, all better." He said as he got off the couch.
"Thanks..." Jeff muttered to the older man. The atmosphere between them was strange. There was an obvious amount of aggression coming off Masky's body and Jeff sensed it.
"Is everything alright?" He asked, not expecting an honest response. Masky stayed quiet, standing in complete silence, gripping the first aid kit which was now in his hands. "Listen, I know we haven't been getting along lately but we're both still Creepypastas. We take care of each other."
Masky sighed and spoke up in reluctance. "I heard you the other day in the forest..." He choked out. He didn't want to reveal himself but he couldn't keep it to himself anymore.
Jeff immediately tensed as his mind flashed back to the day he had screamed out his love for Toby in agony. "Fuck..." Jeff cursed to himself, "I knew I heard somebody."
"It doesn't matter. What's happened has happened." Masky set down the first aid kit and gripped his hand in his other one. His knuckles began to turn pale as he squeezed them against each other.
"So..." Jeff began, awkward silence began to fill the barren room until Masky blurted out almost too quickly and unable to stop himself.
"He likes you too."
Jeff blinked, dumfounded for a few seconds and at a lost for words. "I don't- I uh- I..."
Masky stared at his feet in pain. His heart felt hollow and his shoulders felt heavy. He hadn't felt like this in so long, heartbroken. Jeff shot up from the couch as a thought popped into his head and approached the older man, looking him straight in the eyes.
"Please don't tell Jack."
Masky's eyes widened at the sudden realization, "Oh shit your boyfriend." He felt a small twinge of happiness and a slight bit of mischief clouded his mind.
"Masky please." Jeff fell to his knees. seemed so pitiful. He was begging.
Masky crossed his arms across his chest as a smirk made his eay to his lips. "Do as I say and I'll consider keeping your secret."
Jeff dropped his hands to his side in disbelief. He thought Masky was better than this. He was speechless once again, "You can' be ser-"
"First, stay the fuck away from Toby."
