I'm so sorry...!

Connor's POV
I woke up to the sound of heavy breathing. I had my eyes closed shut. I wanted to move, but I couldn't.

"C-Connor?" Wait, that was... That was (Y/N)'s voice! I opened my eyes slowly to see (Y/N) tied up to a chair. Blood dripped from her forehead and ran down her face. Blood was also coming from her mouth. I was holding her at gunpoint. I couldn't talk. I couldn't tell her I would get her out. All I could do was look around. I tried speaking, but all I could do was think in my head

'(Y-Y/N)? What's happening!? I-I can't move! What am I-' I felt someone behind me.

"Good job, Connor. Your mission is nearly complete." I fluttered my eyes before seeing the Zen garden in ruins. My body was swaying slowly as I saw Amanda in front of me. My LED flashed red.

"A-Amanda!? What am I doing!?" I yelled, crossing my arms in an attempt to protect myself. To a human, it would look like I was cold.

"Why am I holding (Y/N) at gunpoint!? Why am I-" Amanda shook her head before speaking.

"Connor, all you have to do is shoot (Y/N), and come home. Then, your mission will be accomplished." She said. It was my turn to shake my head.

"No! I don't want to!" I blinked, only to see (Y/N) again.

"Connor! Why are you doing this? We were partners... I trusted you!" I looked her up and down. She began to cry. I didn't want to do this. I didn't want to kill (Y/N). I didn't want to have to tell Hank I killed (Y/N)...

"Say something, dammit! Connor!" I felt myself begin to pull the trigger. I could feel tears threatening to fall from my eyes, but my programming prevented them.

"Stop it, Connor!" She struggled to jump out of the seat bolted to the floor.

'I-I can't move... I can't stop! (Y/N)!" I wanted to close my eyes shut. I didn't want to see (Y/N) dead.

"Con-" I heard the gun go off. My vision went dark. I couldn't see anything.

Mission accomplished

(Y/N)...?

(Y/N), are you there!?

(Y/N)!
