Dog Lover

The android was simply sitting down at his terminal, typing away at his computer. He was looking at multiple deviant files that were supposedly connected together in some kind of group. They had recently committed a crime of stealing from a bank. Very cliche, Connor had commented.

His work was interrupted by the sudden cry from a certain female.

"Connor!" (Y/N) yelled, running up to Connor's terminal. Connor whipped his head around to look at her.

"Hello, Detective (L/N). What is it?" He asked as the out of breath co-worker had stopped in front of him.

"Uh, hi! I just wanted to comment on something..." She said, resting her hands on her knees.

"What would that be?" Connor asked, curiously. He tilted his head as (Y/N) concealed a giggle.

"Did you know that Connor is an Irish name meaning Dog Lover?" She said quickly. Connor blinked a few times, looking up the information to make sure that fact was true.

"I am now. Why'd you bring this up again?" Connor furrowed his brows, not understanding what (Y/N) was getting at. The latter snickered.

"Because you like dogs? Like, Sumo? And Dio?" She smiled. Connor's eyes widened. It was a common thing that when Connor was introduced to a new dog, he immediately fell in some sort of android love. Dio, (Y/N)'s pomeranian puppy, was no exception. It looked like a little teddy bear for crying out loud!

"Oh, I guess that's quite a large coincidence." Connor scratched his forehead in slight embarrassment from the fact that it didn't click at first.

"Coincidence? I think Cryberlife programmed you to love dogs and named you Connor on purpose!" (Y/N) accused. Connor gave a small smile to (Y/N).

"Would you prefer me any other way?" The android said with sudden confidence. (Y/N) blushed and covered her face.

"I thought Reed was supposed to be the big flirt, not my android co-worker!" She yelped. Gavin's head popped out from the break room at the mention of his last name.

Suddenly, a huge crowd of people burst into the department.

"GO AWAY, GAVIN! YA BIG DOOF!" They yelled. Immediately, they all turned towards Connor and ran up to him, pushing (Y/N) out of the way. She fell over and was flung away like a Roblox character, tears running down her cheeks in a cartoon fashion as her entire body went stiff.

"I didnt know the fans were separate from (Y/N)." Gavin mumbled, seeing Connor get pulled into the large, raging crowd of people.

"I always thought (Y/N) was a sort of group character, including everyone who read the story..." Captain Fowler followed, making Gavin jump.

"Uh, sir! What are you doing out of your office?" The coffee addict said, startled.

"I'm just here to watch the commotion." Fowler pointed towards the crowd, making Gavin look over. The crowd was currently forcing Connor out of the office, shouting and yelling at him to notice them.

"I'M SURE NOTICING YOU GUYS, ALRIGHT!!" He shouted. "ITS HARD TO IGNORE YOU WHEN YOURE ALL YELLING AT ME!!" The crowd only got louder. No one in the office heard another word mumbled from (Y/N) ever again. She was probably dead.
