Ruined Plans

"Get your ass in the car and let's go idiot."
"Neither of those words are my name but okay." Soonyoung shrugged and stuck his tongue out.
"Your fault for being late. Now we'll get caught in traffic and it'll be your fault." Jihoon rolled his eyes but gave Soonyoung a kiss on the cheek as his car backed out of his driveway.
"Love you too. Now where did you say you wanted to go today?"
"The Observatory at the science center. I went there ages and ages ago and thought it would be nice to take my future s.o there for a date."
"M'kay. Whatever you want." They sat in silence and soon as expected, they got caught in a traffic jam. Every five seconds an angry driver would honk their car or they would shout out of their window. Not to mention that Soonyoung's car didn't have a roof, so the smell of the vehicles was pretty...smelly.
"See I told you so. We could've avoided this if you hadn't been late." The pair bickered as the traffic slowly started to move at the rate of a snail's movement.
"Hey look at the road not at me, if we get into an accident that'll be your fault."
"No shut up I'm trying to make a point here."
They sounded like an old married couple to be honest.

The couple finally arrived at the science center. Half an hour later than they wanted, but hey at least they arrived without Soonyoung crashing his car. Speaking of Soonyoung, he still insisted on quote unquote 'making his point' to which Jihoon kept silent and held his hand.
"No you don't understand my point- stop rubbing my hand it's making me calmer and I'm trying to prove my point." Jihoon just hummed and continued, as they walked towards the Observatory. By the time they got there, Soonyoung was a flustered mess of red.
"Th-this is-is y-your fault okay."
"Whatever you say honey." Jihoon sweetly smiled at Soonyoung.
"God damn he knows me too well." Soonyoung thought to himself.

Though there weren't too many because of light pollution, you could clearly see some stars. It wasn't like in those famous milky way photos certainly, this sky was a miniature garden compared to it. However, it still had its charms. It was somewhat comforting to know that they actually weren't too far away from home, yet they could still catch a glimpse of the heavens.

This makes it seem fine and dandy doesn't it? Well, it actually wasn't really like that.

"Hey look at all those st- oi watch where your going kid! There's so ma- WHERE ARE YOUR PARENTS?" Obviously, that was Soonyoung. Who else would it be.
"Calm down, it's okay we're just here to look into the telescope and admire the view." Jihoon leant onto Soonyoung's shoulder and wrapped his hand around his waist.
"You don't want to ruin the date even further, do you?" He whispered with a cheeky smile. Soonyoung couldn't help but place a small kiss on Jihoon's head.
"You make me so soft."
"Oh I'm well aware. And I use it to my advantage." The children were still running around like headless chickens, and the weather happened to be extremely humid, but at least they had each other.

"Oh, er... Soonyoung?"
"Hmmmm?"
"It's cloudy now. All the stars are gone and you can barely even see the moon." Jihoon pouted. He was right. The clouds had covered everything, and it even seemed like it was about to rain.
"You've got to be kidding me."
"Well I'm clearly not, so what now?" The first spits of rain fell and everyone, even the children, were reluctantly seeking shelter inside the main building. It escalated quickly to a drizzle then a normal pour of rain. Jihoon dragged Soonyoung inside whilst the older spouted out more complaints.
"The weather forecast said it wouldn't rain though so why did it decide to rain???" Jihoon stared and watched the rain fall from the window. It was showing no sign of letting up any time soon; there was no point in actually staying, they wouldn't get to see anything anyway.
"Now the date is ruinedddd what do we do nowww" Soonyoung bounced agitatingly on his chair. Jihoon laughed and shuffled his chair closer to Soonyoung.
"It's fine you know. I got the spend some time with you and that already satisfies me more than enough."
"Well yeah same here bu-" But Jihoon shushed him by putting a finger over his mouth.
"Sleep over at your place tonight?"
"Fine why not."
