Clarke Griffin shown above.

After announcing that we were going to save Jasper, Clarke had joined Wells in the drop ship. When I walked in she was fixing up his new war wound from fighting with Murphy. She didn't even look at me when I walked in; she just acted as if I wasn't there at all.

"When my father said they didn't leave us anything, he really meant it. It's just a scratch." I heard Wells say, as Clarke rummaged through the numerous boxes, looking for something to cover his wound.

"Nice pack." she said, completely ignoring his words and looking at the bundle of belongings that lay at his side.

"Yeah, seat belts and insulation. I also packed part of the parachute, figured we could use it to carry out Jasper." he said, rather intelligently. I appreciated this side of Wells; he used his brain more than any of us.

"Good. Give it to someone else. You're not coming with us." Clarke said, harshly. I rolled my eyes at her, who put her in charge?

"My ankle's fine." Wells defended himself.

"It's not your ankle, Wells, it's you." she answered back coldly.

"Clarke, he's only trying to help, cut him some slack." I said, defending the boy. She completely ignored me and carried on rummaging around the drop ship.

"You came back for reinforcements. I'm going to help." Wells said, reasoning with her.

"Clarke, he's right. We need him. So far no one else has volunteered." Monty says, as he enters the drop ship.

"I'm sorry, Monty, but you're not going, either." she says to him, less coldly than she answered Wells.

"Like hell I'm not. Jasper's my best friend." Monty said, raising his voice a little.

"Hey, that's not fair." I said, defending him. It feels like I'm doing that a lot today.

"You're too important. You were raised on Farm Station and recruited by engineering." she said, ignoring me once again.

"So?"

"So, food and communication. What's up here," she said, raising her hand to tap the side of his head. "It's going to save us all. You figure out how to talk to the Ark and I'll bring Jasper back."

"Hey, you ready?" she said, the second Finn walked in.

"I'm not going anywhere, and neither should any of you. That spear was thrown with pinpoint accuracy from 300 feet." he responded. He had a fair point, but I'm not letting Jasper die.

"So what, we let Jasper die? That's not going to happen. Spacewalker? What a joke. You think you're such an adventurer. You're really just a coward."

What the hell was wrong with her? Sure I pissed her off, but she doesn't need to take it out on everybody else.

"It's not an adventure, Clarke, it's a suicide mission." Finn responded.

"Jasper looked up to you." Monty said, sadly, staring up at Finn, before leaving the drop ship.

I lowered my head and left the drop ship, needing some air. When I looked up I saw Octavia, Bellamy and Clarke discussing something near the camps exit.

When I was near I could hear Octavia groaning in pain. She was tightly gripping her leg and looking up to face her big brother.

"What the hell was it?" Bellamy said, before looking at me, aware of my presence.

"I don't know. The others said it looked like a giant snake." she answered.

"You could have been killed."
