*Jade's POV
"Jade!!!! Are you ready yet? We have to go to the airport!", I heard Jake yelled from outside my room. "I'm almost ready, chill the hell out! Our plane doesn't leave for another 4 hours!" I replied.
Today was the day I move to Los Angeles and leave my hometown of Kansas. As I zipped up my last suitcase, I took one last look around my room. My room that I've had all my life. There were so many memories in this room. Good and bad. This is where I took my very first Instagram picture, which would lead to my now 856k followers. But this is also where my brother and his friend, Colby, found me trying to cut myself. It was embarrassing being that I had a huge crush on Colby and he found me at my lowest point. Since then, the only people that can keep my mind off harming myself is Jake, Colby, and his best friend Sam.
Before Sam and Colby left and moved to LA, he spent most of the time with Sam and Colby filming videos for Vine. I usually joined them and helped film. Because of this, the four of us became super close and I considered Sam and Colby some of my best friends.
Now that Jake is old enough, we are going move to California to live with Sam and Colby, along with two other YouTubers. Corey Scherer and his girlfriend live in the house with another guy name Aaron Doh. Let's just say I'm very excited and nervous at the same time. :/ stupid hormones
We hugged our parents goodbye as we packed up the car. They only allowed Jake to go because I was going too. My parents have always trusted me but Jake on the other hand... not so much. I have to admit, having so much freedom was great but it also caused me to get anxiety and self confidence issues. I haven't cut my self in almost 3 months. I even threw away my blades. let's hope it stays that way in LA.
*Time Skip*
We arrived at the airport and checked our bags. As we got through security, I received a text from someone I haven't talked to in years... I wonder what they want🤨
