Chapter 4

*Jade's POV

"JADE!" I heard as I was scrolling through Instagram. I looked up and saw Sam and Colby. I got so excited and ran and jumped to give them a hug.

"Oh my god! I've missed you guys so much! What are you guys doing here? We were supposed to meet at the house." I asked as I pulled away to get my bags. "Jake texted us yesterday and told us to come pick you guys up to surprise you" Sam replied.
I looked at Jake as he put the bags in the car and thanked him. "How about as a thank you, I can use your car for the weekend?" He winked at me as he spoke. "Nice try, brat" I replied as I got into the car sitting next to Colby.

On our way back to the house we caught up with each other and talked about our lives since we haven't seen each other in almost 2 years. Sam drove, Jake sat in the front next to Sam and Colby and I sat in the back. We exchanged looks throughout the car ride, which made me turn red. He'd gotten hotter since I last saw him.

*Colby's POV

Jade looked amazing. During the car ride, I couldn't help but stare at her. But something caught my eye when I was admiring her. I looked down at her arm and saw the scars from when she cut herself. The scars looked older which made me relieved. It was a shame someone so beautiful and kind had to go through something like that. No one deserves to feel that way.

*Jade's POV

As Sam and I were talking I saw Colby staring at my arm. The arm that had my scars. The arm he found me trying to cut. I didn't want to draw attention to it so rolled my sleeve back down to cover it.

We finally arrived to the house around 6:15. Sam ran inside the mansion to get the roommates to help with the bags. A really tall guy came out and introduced himself as Aaron. He was so nice and seemed so innocent. I couldn't understand how he could live with these guys. Corey then came out and gave me a hug. I had met Corey a couple of times on FaceTime. It was so nice to finally meet him in person.

The guys helped carry the bags in and take them to our rooms. My room was across from Aaron's and Jake's was in between us. Corey and Devyn have the master bedroom and Sam and Colby's room are in the hallway next to Corey's room.

As I was unpacking and setting up my room, I heard a knock on my door. I opened the door and it was Sam. "Hey Jade, we are all going out to dinner in like 30 minutes to celebrate you two moving in." "Oh ok. Yeah I'll start to get ready. Thanks" I replied as I closed to door. Great. Now I have to find something to wear in this mess. I look down at my room with everything on the floor. This should be fun.
