I received a text from Katrina Stuart. Kat and I used to be childhood best friends. We went to the same summer camp every year. The two of us kept in touch until about 9th grade. She randomly stopped texting and calling when she moved to California. I was devastated. Around this time I started to develop anxiety attacks and self confidence issues. I was in a big dark hole at this time. Luckily I had other friends that helped me through it.
"Uhh... aren't you going to answer that?" Jake said as he snapped me back into reality. I looked at him and replied, "oh yea. Just reminiscing". I waited till after we got out of security to answer her.
As we walked out towards our gate, I took out my phone and read her text.
