Chapter 8

*Jade's POV

I woke up around 11 and changed into my gym clothes. I went downstairs to make a smoothie. Corey was playing Rocket League downstairs with Devyn.

They called me over to talk about my date with Colby. "So when's your date?" Corey asked. "Tonight" I replied. Devyn lit up with a smile, "We should go shopping!!" I agreed and went to go change out of my gym clothes because who needs to work out. I'm not trying to be sore for my date.

I put up my hair in a ponytail and met Devyn downstairs. We decided to invite Katrina since I haven't seen her since I moved here.

Jade:
Hey Kat, do you want
to go shopping with
Devyn and I in about
30 minutes?
Katrina:
Sure! I'll meet you there
Jade:
Ok, sounds good!
Katrina:
See you there!

Devyn and I got to the mall and we waited for Kat. When I saw Kat get out her car, I ran to give her a hug. We haven't seen each other in years. The rest of the time we caught up and got to know each other again. And we all found new outfits including this one that I'm going to wear tonight,

By the time we got back, I only had time to change and straighten my hair. After I finished getting ready, I headed downstairs. Colby was in the kitchen editing.

I decided to try and scare him since his back was facing me. I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around his neck. He turned around and smiled as he got up.

"You look great!" He said as he stood up. I smiled and said, "Thanks. You do too." We held hands as we walked out the Colby's car. He opened the passenger side door for me and then walked around to the drivers side and got in.

He took me to a nice restaurant. It's was a great dinner. We talked about what we did after he left. His journey with Sam seems like it's what you would see in movies. I could be with him 24/7.

After dinner, we got into the car and he gave me a bandana to cover my eyes. "I have one more place to take you, but it's a surprise" he said giving me the bandana. I played along and put on the blindfold.

After about 15 minutes he stopped the car and helped me out of the car. We sat on the hood of his car and he instructed me to take off the blindfold.

When I took it off, my face immediately turned into a smile. We were in a hill that faces the stars. It's was beautiful. "This is one of my favorite places to go when I want to clear my head." Colby explained as I was admitting the stars. "It's beautiful" I replied still smiling.

We sat in silence as we looked at the sky. I turned to see Colby staring at me and smiling. I couldn't help but smile back. Before I knew it, our lips met and chills ran down my spine. When we pulled away Colby said, "I've been waiting for this for a long time." "Me too" I replied. We decided to take a picture and go back to the house.

On the way home, we sang and danced. We were holding hands the entire time. I snapped a photo so I can post it on Instagram. We decided to tag each other in pictures but we won't confirm anything till later with our fans.

At home we walked upstairs and he gave me a hug goodnight. I headed to my room so I can post the picture on Instagram. Colby had already posted his.
