The samoan male was in the kitchen, baking his worries away; sort of. He was baking some cookies, from scratch, mainly to cheer up Lance after what had happened on the Training Deck a few hours ago.

But, while thinking back to that.... "enlightening"... scene.... He began to think of himself.

He began to think about his own feelings about things. About the team. What they know about him; which isn't a lot, mind you.

All they know is that he's anxious(extremely, if you think about it), a good cook, an exceptional engineer, a master at hugs, a dude with weird jokes, and an amazing friend.

But they don't REALLY know him like he does.

Sure, he's become braver than he used to. Sure, he's fought battles that not many can't. Sure, he's changed.

But he's still.......

Still...

Still.... himself.

Incredibly scared.

Weirded out.

Homesick.

Doubtful.

Anxious.

Hurt....

....hateful..?

...Regretful...?

......

Hell, the yellow paladin doesn't even know anymore...

......

He shook his head to clear the thoughts that littered his head like trash. Putting the cookies into the oven, he started on the next batch, humming to himself. The dark chocolate haired boy's mind wandered off, and soon he was in the zone. Trapped in the whirlpool of thoughts that throbbed through his head.

......

The yellow paladins mind has been... scrambled lately. He's learned so much about the other paladins, about their past, as well as others. He knows so much about them, but he began to think: do they know about him?

Yes, their bond is strong, and they know his personality; but do they really, really know him?

Do they know why he got into the garrison?

Do they know What he actually thinks about them all?

Do they know Why he acts the way he does?

Do they know What's happened to him in the past?

......

Do they know how he feels when they stare at him like he's an idiot, when he's really just trying to lighten the mood, or get his feelings on a situation out?

No, they don't.

He'll feel like he did something wrong, or said something wrong. He'll feel like they think he's a weird, overly anxious person who doesn't deserve to have the yellow lion. He'll overthink about what they actually are thinking, and goes to irrational thoughts.

He'll evidently act awkward, but on the inside, he's a mess; like everyone else.

......

'They don't know me like I know me... huh?', Hunk thought to himself, bringing out the first, hot batch of cookies, whilst holding a worried smile.

'Ah, whatever. I gotta finish these cookies.'

He put the next batch in the oven, and began to quickly work on a third batch.

......

What he didn't notice, though, was a single large tear that fell from his eyes, that splattered on the ground beneath him, breaking into small little droplets.

"Even the light has dark secrets, that have yet to be revealed."
