Quick A/N: Sorry I haven't updated for a while. I've been busy with school. I try to keep updating regularly!
Lexi's POV
We were currently following a trail of little spiders that were leading us into the Forbidden Forest. Never have I felt more stupid than now, relying on this trail of spiders for a lead. Harry was bent over slightly, a Sherlock Holmes-type posture as he walked. Ron on the other hand was whimpering as we got deeper and deeper into the dark forest.
After a few more minutes of walking, we stopped as the trail of small spider dispersed, every spider going in a different direction. Uh oh, maybe this was a dud. It couldn't be if Hagrid told us. All of a sudden, Ron started loudly whimpering. I turned to him to tell him to be quiet and he was standing there, pointing up, a very worried look on his face. I looked to where he was pointing and saw a gigantic spider lowering itself onto the ground.
"Who are you?" The spider asked.
"We're friends of Hagrid. You may know him," Harry answered, the brave one of the three of us.
"Are you Aragog?" I asked, barely managing to find my voice.
"Yes, I am Aragog. I know Hagrid very well," Aragog stepped forward and, in synchronisation, the three of us all stepped back. "Hagrid's never sent men in before," My eyes narrowed, slightly offended by his comment.
"There's trouble. Back at the school, there's been attacks. They think it's Hagrid. They think he opened the Chamber of Secrets, like before," Harry responded.
"That's a lie. Hagrid never opened the Chamber of Secrets," Aragog said.
"Then you're not the monster," Harry, I think you should watch what you're saying. You offend this spider and we're all dead.
"No. The monster grew up in the castle,"
"Harry..." Ron whimpered.
"Shut it, Ron!" I whispered harshly.
"If you're not the monster, then who did kill that girl 50 years ago?"
"We do not speak of it!" Geez, touchy subject. "It is an ancient creature we spiders fear,"
Ron nudged my arm and pointed at me to look up. Suddenly, heaps of spiders were lowering themselves down.
"Harry!" I whispered. "Look up!"
Harry did what I said and his eyes widened.
"Well, thank you for helping us. It was very nice of you but we better be going now," Ron, Harry and I started backing away.
"Go?" Aragog questioned. We all nodded slowly. "My sons and daughters cannot resist the temptation of fresh meat. Goodbye." Aragog backed away into the shadows as we were being herded by these spiders. I drew my wand, preparing myself, as did Harry and Ron.
Suddenly, two bright lights were seen, getting closer and closer, knocking spiders out of the way. It was the magical car, which got quite a beating by the Whomping Willow at the start of the year. I ran to the driver's door and jumped in, kicking spider out of the way of the door. Harry and Ron followed suit and jumped in. I put the car into reverse and backed it up, slamming my foot down on the accelerator, looking out the back window.
Once we were out of the Dark Forest, the car ejected us again and drove off into the distance as we got up and ran back inside the castle, away from the spiders.
