Part 13

Back in the States

Two weeks had already passed since the argument with mrs. Jeon and now finally a plan was made to avoid the disaster. I was sitting at a café with Tae while the kids were playing in the children's corner that the café had, and we were doing the finishing touches to the show. 

Jungkook would be arriving in a week so we didn't have that much time to waste, but luckily Tae knows him very good and is a great help. "So you really think that he won't figure it out, I mean he could find the information about Nana having kids if he looked it up on the net." 

"Trust me, Jungkook is just as much interested in fashion as I am in oil drills, which is equal to minus zero percent." 

"Okay I trust you in this so now the rest lies in my hands, or rather in my acting skills." The plan was that I'd call my mother while she's with mrs. Jeon 'not knowing about it' since I was desperate and stressed out about having to postpone my fashion show. 

Mom did a really good job playing along and I even guessed that she put me on loudspeaker so mrs. Jeon heard what I said too but stayed silent. 

"I'm so mad right now, and if my assistant didn't go check on it today it would be an even bigger disaster. Those are professionals but how could they mix up the spring and summer collection designs?! Now I have 6 outfits less in the spring collection and 6 summer designs halfway done that I won't need until mid summer." 

"Can't you do the show without those outfits honey?" 

"No mom, those were my favorite designs and two male outfits are there too which I can't leave out now. Luckily...well considering the circumstances, they started working on them immediately and said that they would be able to finish everything within a month." 

"But that's good then, no?" 

"No! Jungkook was working so hard to make time and organize everything just so he could come over for the show and I promised mrs. Jeon that he would be a model, I already chose his outfits too." I was trying to ask as desperate as I could and even a sob escaped my lips as I completely immersed into my role. "I feel bad for making him do all that, and like this he won't be able to come when the show will finally be held." 

"Now now honey, no need to cry, I understand how much this means to you, and Jungkook surely will understand it too so don't worry about that, okay? Look at it positively, just enjoy the time that he spends there with you since I know how much you already miss each other." 

"O-okay, thanks mom *sniff* but I don't want him to have to come for no reason so I got him on a runway for one of our fellow designers, in fact all of my models who won't be able to stay a month longer will join the show of a good friend of mine." 

"It's okay, I'm sure they won't complain since all designers from your circles are famous, no?" 

"Yeah...I just hope his mom won't be too disappointed in me or hate me after this..." The rest of the conversation ended with mrs. Jeon staying quiet and listening to my breakdown and mom trying to encourage me and assure me that everything will be okay. 

As soon as I hung up I sent Tae a text that part 1 of the plan was successful, now comes the hard part, mission: keep Jungkook away from the twins. 

~JK POV ~

Mom told me about Y/N having some problems and that the plans have changed a bit but since I still have to model I didn't really pay much attention to her rambling. The plane just arrived and Taehyung told me that he would come and give me a lift to the hotel I'll be staying in for the time I would spend here.
