Part 20

(3 days before Jungkook is leaving for the US)

"Wow man, you're really quick, huh?"

"What do you mean by that Tae?"

"Oh come on, don't be so innocent! You just started talking again and you already got her to stay over at her place while you'll be in the States."

"I did nothing, it was her who offered it, and Jimin hyung will be staying there too."

"Oh, really? So how do you feel about it? I mean meeting the twins and all..."

"To be honest I'm a bit nervous since I never interacted with kids... heck I don't even know how big four year old children are! I'm so glad that I asked her what to get them, otherwise I wouldn't know what to do."

"I got Jungie a beanie and his sister a cute hat with a red bow, I think they will like it. Oh, I forgot to ask when you're coming?"

"My plane should land around 3 pm on Friday since I'll take the plane in the evening after getting off work."

"Cool, then you'll arrive a day earlier and we can hang out a bit. Did you talk with Y/N about it?"

"Yeah, but she said that she's working 'till late and the twins will be over at a friend's place after kindergarden. I thought about visiting Hobi hyung but they might be busy with the wedding preparations."

"Yah, Kook! I'm free all day and you haven't even visited my place! I'll pick you up and we'll go eat something before going to mine, and you can go to Y/N's when she gets home."

"Okay Tae, thanks. I need to go finish some more work and start packing my stuff now, text you when I'll board the plane, okay?"

"Yeah, sure. See ya in a few days!"

"Bye."

Time flew by and by the time Jungkook realized it, he was already boarding his plane and typing the text for his friend as he promised. The flight would last a little over 11 hours since he chose the flight without a stop in China, so he made himself comfortable and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Taehyung was heard loudly as soon as Jungkook entered the airport with his luggage on a trolley, facepalming at the sight of his best friend. After packing all the bags into the car they drove to a nearby restaurant for lunch.

"So, happy anniversary?"

"Oh, thanks I guess."

"Did you bring the presents or did you send them beforehand?"

"I sent them so they should have arrived yesterday or maybe today morning."

"Won't it be weird later? I mean you'll stay at her place and it will already be awkward even without you surprising her with four years worth of presents."

"She told me that she already got me a birthday present so I don't think it will be much different because of my presents."

"I just hope that you're prepared for everything that is about to come..."

After eating as much as we could Tae drove us back to his place, which he was very excited about since it was my first time there. The place was huge, enough for four people at least but Tae kept saying how it's not big enough for him. 

I doubted that until I actually saw his dressing room, which was more a necktie room since half of the drawers was filled with neatly folded neckties, while the rest were pajamas. He later told me how he had to redecorate one of his guest rooms into a walk in closet because of this, since the big closet in his bed room was filled to the brim with suits. By that time neither the fact that his other clothes were all Gucci or the fact that his other guest room was an art museum surprised me.
