The wedding day of Hoseok and Irene came around the corner in the blink of an eye and the Jeon family was more than ready to finally make its appearance now that it was complete. The party was only for family members so no media would disturb them, still Y/N was a little nervous to appear in front of her family with her husband by her side.
Ever since Jungkook came to the US (basically the last two weeks) their relationship started going uphill and everyone around them could notice it. They had time to talk things out, catch up about the past years and spend some quality time together and with their beautiful children.
Jungkook proved himself to be a great father, but sometimes Y/N was painfully reminded that her oh-so-handsome-and -mature husband was still a child deep inside when he would act even more childish than his son arguing about a game. She hated to admit it but she loved him even more in those moments, the way he unconsciously started pouting whenever he would lose an argument and sulk on the couch.
Everyone was already at the church, the guys were accompanying Hoseok in his dressing room while the girls helped Irene with her dress. "Hyung, stop pacing around!" Jungkook was laughing at the sight of his nervous hyung, but it was going like this for the past 30 minutes and all of them were slowly fed up with him.
"Stop pacing around?! How are you tell me to stop?! Don't you know how nervous I am? I-I need to throw up-" Hoseok was totally loosing it so Jimin tried to calm him down by giving him a bro hug and forcing him to sit down on a chair before he'd faint.
"Hyung everything is going to be alright, okay? You can do this. You've done so many more terrifying things than this so don't be nervous."
"Tell me one thing that was more terrifying than this."
"You held the twins when they were born, while they were barely the size of a bread." Jimin smiled at him which made Hoseoks smile slowly return as he remembered those times, making him forget about his previous anxiety. The others let out a deep sigh at that before there was a knock on the door and a little boy skipped inside. "Uncle Hobi!"
Junghyun ran over to his uncle and gave him a tight hug before turning around and doing the same to all of the other men in the room. "Wow Kook, did you try to make Bunny your little copy?" Jimin was eyeing his nephew and his brother-in-law as they were wearing matching colors. Jungkook was in a maroon and black striped tux with a maroon blouse underneath, while Bunny sported a black tux, a white shirt tugged in his pants over which he had a maroon west and a matching bow-tie. "Actually hyung we're not in partner look, but in a family look." He stated with a bright smile on his face while his hands kept unconsciously playing with his son's fluffy hair, making everyone laugh at the slightly upset kid who was desperately trying to fix his hair.
At the same time on the other side of the church the makeup artists were doing their magic fixing up everything and adding the finishing touches to make the bride look breathtakingly beautiful. The atmosphere was much more relaxed and everyone kept chattering and praising the others' dresses. "So dear cousin how is it going with you and Kook?"
Y/N's face turned a shade of light pink and everybody's attention was on her now. "It's actually pretty good, we sorted everything out and decided to let things go their way..." "What is that supposed to mean, hmmm?"
"We both still have feelings for each other, strong feelings, and we decided to take it slowly without any pressure."
"That sounds great, finally you two idiots realized that you can't live without the other!"
"Yah! What is that supposed to mean?"
"Come on Y/N, we knew it all along that you still loved that coconut head even after everything he has done. And we also knew what an idiot he was by hurting you and let him suffer for everything by not telling him about your whereabouts. We just wanted to make him come to his senses and realize his own feelings, and also man up and learn to be independent."
Y/N was taken aback by her cousins words and her vision started to blur as tears threatened to spill, just then a voice brought her back. "Look at you, our little princess looks so gorgeous!" Areum was twirling Seohyun around so her tulle skirt would fly around and make the little girl giggle. "You both look beautiful, did you plan to wear the same colors?" "Actually we all wear the same colors, including the boys, right princess?" "Mhmm, daddy and Bunny are also wearing red so we all look like a pretty family." She kept twirling around enjoying the puffy material of her dress which had a maroon top with a white tulle skirt that had roses on the ends to make her look like a real princess. Y/N was also in maroon, an a-line floor length dress with off-the-shoulder sleeves, with black details on the top part making it match perfectly with her Kookie.
The conversations were broke in both rooms as the beginning of the wedding was announced and most of them gathered before the entrance, not forgetting to give their fair share of stares to the happy-couple that was trying to fix their children's looks in the last minute. Hoseok was the first to walk inside greeting all the guests and taking his place at the end of the aisle, followed by the brides and grooms maids and the flower girl before the wedding march began.
A lot of happy tears were shed until it was official and mr. and mrs. Jung finally exited the church to be met with flower petals raining on them. The venue for the party was nearby so no one had to endure their hunger for too long, and after dinner it was already time for the first dance of the newlyweds.
The twins were with their grandparents while the whole room turned dark leaving only a small light that shone onto the couple in the center of the crowd. As the music started to play everyone got soft seeing the two lovers dance for the first time as husband and wife. As the song came to an end and another slow song started couples swarmed around the newlyweds dancing along.
Jungkook softly took Y/N's hand and led her to the middle where the others were already dancing, slowly putting his hands on her waist and pulling her body close to his. Y/N was a blushing mess yet the smile wouldn't leave her face, her hands resting on his shoulders and their noses almost touching as they kept smiling at each other. "You look stunning tonight." "Thank you. You too look very handsome in that suit."
"Y/N?"
"Hmm?"
"I Love You."
Her eyes were wide, taken aback by his words but he didn't seem too fazed by her reaction, since both of them knew that their feelings were mutual, she just didn't expect him to say them out aloud so soon. She looked down as she felt her face heating up more and more, but Jungkook gently lifted it back up so they could look at each other before leaning in and planting a gentle kiss on her soft lips. It felt as it thousands of fireworks exploded in both of their chests when their lips finally met again after so many years, making both of them smile into the kiss. They pulled apart quickly still smiling like idiots, totally forgetting their surroundings when Y/N broke the silence.
"I Love You Too My Kookie."
Right after that a force bumped into both of their legs which made them look down and smile even brighter seeing their two bundles of joy. Looking back at each other and then at their beautiful kids that kept hugging their waists both Jungkook and Y/N felt the happiest on the world.
Their family was finally complete and happy and no one would be able to ever change that.
