Part 22

I finished showering and went back to the living room just to find Bunny alone playing video games on the console, and faint laughter being heard from the kitchen. I quietly made my way over to look at what was happening there and what I saw made my heart warm up. 

Jungkook and Seohyun-ie were giggling together, she probably wanted to help him but instead ended up in his arms being tickled. "I guess the dishes are not done yet?" I asked with a small smile on my face leaning onto the door frame.

"Mommy, daddy won't stop tickling me~" 

"Well it's your fault for being so cute~" He said it cutely and gave her a peck on her cheek before letting her back down and looked up at me. "Sorry, we somehow lost the track of time, I'll quickly finish this so you two go and join Junghyun at the console." 

"Okay, but after you're done we'll have a talk, as you might have realized Bunny is very much like you...so I'm sure he hasn't figured out the obvious yet. And I think that convincing him will be a little harder since he also inherited your unbelievable stubbornness, so good luck."

 I left to the twins who were already arguing in front of the console, leaving Jungkook finish taking care of the dishes. Not much later he emerged from the kitchen heading directly to his room to get two bags and came back into the living room, seating himself beside me. 

"Kids, can you pause the game and come here for a second?" The two scrambled up to their feet and came over to the sofa, sitting between us and staring at us questioningly. "Ahjusshi, what is in those bags? Is it for us?" 

"Yes Bunny, those bags are for you and your sister, but first your mommy and I have to tell you something important." 

"Can I open my bag? I already know what this is about~" 

"No Princess that would not be fair towards your brother." 

"But daddy~" She pouted cutely at him which made her get another kiss on the cheek, making her face light up immediately, but her brother was still frowning. "Sis, why did you call ahjusshi daddy?" 

"Bunny that's what I wanted to tell you. Didn't you realize that you look almost exactly like Jungkook?" He just nodded his head making his already longer hair bounce along with it, but still looking lost...he looked even more like his dad and I had to bite back my laugh. "Bunny, you look that much like Jungkook because he's your daddy." 

"Ahjusshi is that true? Are you really my daddy?" 

"That's true, your mom is right, I'm your daddy." 

"But...where were you until now? Why did mommy never talk about you?" 

"That is because daddy is a very busy man who has a biiig company in Seol and couldn't come live with us." Seohyun spread her arms while explaining about her father's job, which I guess he told her about, although she didn't exactly get the name of the city right. "Princess it's Seoul not Seol, that's the city back in Korea where your grandma and grandpa live, and also where your mommy and I lived." Jungkook softly added while taking her arms in his and holding her tiny hands in his, letting her play with his fingers.

"Hmmm...I still don't believe you totally...but if sis says that you are our daddy then I trust her. But don't expect me to accept you so easily, you'll have to prove yourself first." 

"Sure thing buddy, but let me give you these small presents first, okay?" The twins nodded simultaneously and already made grabby hands towards Kook who smiled lovingly back at them before handing over his gifts.
