Shyann POV

"You missed a spot girly"

A growl escaped past my lips towards the Brooklyn accent turtle who was only reading a comic book.

As punishment for the past two weeks I have to train with these people and during my free time wipe down the weapons, all 50 of them; I'm surprised I didn't throw one at his head yet.

"Your very bad at cleaning, you could never be a maid"

The kunai I shined somehow-by accident- maybe darted at the green eyed turtle's head. This is why I don't help people, it gets me caught into trouble.

This is what I get for beating the pulp out of the pink thing in charge and save the planet. I'm never helping again.

Raph POV

"That's not very lady-like girly"

I had a feeling she would do this. I pulled my head out of my shell. Man that feels weird to do I don't know how Mikey does it all the time.

I still had to watch over the chick after all that she done. This Thursday, today was her second to last day on probation, Splinter let her off the hook. If it was me he would've had to do this for 3 months. My plastron growled warning me if I don't eat it's gonna eat me soon.

"Almost forgot to feed Spike for a minute" I laughed.

"Who's Spike?"

I almost forgot she never seen my little pal before. Luckily at the beginning of the Kraang war, he hidden himself in a box and when we came back to get a couple of our belongings before we hit the road to Em and April's farm house and Spike was my special thing to bring back.

"Aww that's adorable"

'Did I say that out loud?'

"Yes, yes you did pepper face" The red head laughed, standing up from her spot on the training floor we were on after polishing the last item.

I groaned at the stained name she been calling me but left it at that going pass her to get my best friend. He sat still in his tank sleeping; with the new space I got to upgrade his small home into a bigger one using a old table and glass that Don fixed up for me. With a greeting, I patted his shell to wake him up and went back out the room with him to the kitchen only spotting her again placing a slice of pizza in the microwave.

We found and installed the basic kitchen equipment like the stove and fridge and we added back the island table to set in the middle. I placed Spike down on the island to grab him a piece of lettuce while I settled on the turtle favorite.

"Well aren't you handsome"

Out of curiousity, I twisted my head to the side to find Spike under the touch of Shy. What's shocking is, I taught him for years to bite the enemy and I don't see that; he never warmed up to anyone that fast, not even my brothers. I grabbed his leaf with my pizza and sat in a stool on the other end watching my pal get smothered by the red head.

"Come on Spike, time to eat"

I knew he heard me, he even turned his head and blinked indicating that he knew. The index finger that was rubbing up and down his neck encouraged him to ignore me. I could hear her laugh at the situation feeling the heat rise in my face subconsciously.

If you think about it, she looked different in a way; she actually looked happy. All she ever did was have an emotionless or a scowl everytime I see her, I can't blame her after saving the planet from the alien invasion she still here and not where ever she lived at with whomever. I would've been fighting everyone here everyday to let me go so I can go back to my family.
