Chapter 10

and... this boy is pink again. Jihoon was just getting used to being blonde, which he likes most on himself. His pale skin wouldn't be so prominent because of it and... it just suited him. Not that pink doesn't, he just looks an awful lot more cutesy. The boy could already imagine all the 'aaaawwwws' when he would walk on stage or even, in their own dorm. Everyone loved pinkhaired Lee Jihoon. If expected, its exactly what happened. The boy hadn't stepped 2 steps back into the common room of the dorm where everyone was seated and a few of his members had already ruffled his hair of pinched his cheeks. He looked around to see the changes on the rest. There wasn't as much, even though Jisoo was back on being purple. Seungcheol, Soonyoung and Jun were blonde, but Soonyoung had that famous halo haircut back. Blonde hair with blue on top. Right, their album concept was cute. Jihoon, what were you thinking. The rest was something between black, brown and a darker shade of blonde. Oh wait, Mingyu is more greyish/blue... a bit what he had on Mansae Era. It looks good on Mingyu, Jihoon is not going to lie. It makes the boy cute, but sexy at the same time. Jihoon thinks everyone looks good at this very moment. Blonde Jun is really something, they didn't witness it very often but its always as Jun just knows he looks good. Blonde makes him definitely more flamboyant. Jihoon chuckles at the thought of it. Soonyoung noticed this.

''What are you thinking about pinkboy?'' the boy with his famous 10:10 eyesmile said. ''Oh, how I am about to slap you with Jisoos guitar, hyung.'' Jihoon smiles brightly and jumped on Soonyoungs back. ''WHY ALWAYS MY GUITAR?'' Jisoo had shouted, witnessing the event before his eyes. ''Because mine is too precious.'' The smaller had answered and Soonyoung ran off, with the boy still on his back. Even if Jihoon is very reserved, Soonyoung was something else. They were close in age and total opposites. They were both very hardworking and determined yes, but Soonyoung pushed the younger out of his shell. So to say, Jihoon was way more open and talkactive around him. ''Where are we going?'' he had asked since Soonyoung had still been running through the dorms. ''The roof.'' As soon as those words had been spoken out, they were already there.

Seventeen was living in a dorm as was mentioned before, but they had top floor apartments and therefor they also owned the rooftop. The dorm, located in mid Seoul was in a 20floors height building. The floors below them mostly consisted of offices, private studios, other dorms... all in ownership of Pledis Entertainment. The roof was as big as their whole apartment floor, having a grass field, a place to sit with some bushes. They had made it into a place where they could hangout with the group, to play soccer as they had high glass walls around the edges making sure no one could ever fall off, to run around and more. Soonyoung dropped Jihoon on the grass and sat down in front of him. Even if the glass covered the whole roof, there was still wind slipping through. Which was flowing through the boy's hairs. They were alone, it was silent. Soonyoung had looked at Jihoon while he just had looked around, being content in the situation they were sat in.

''Soonyoungi hyung?'' Jihoon was laying on the grass, hands behind his head as he was looking at the boy, smiling. Soonyoung decided to lay down too, but sideways, resting his head on Jihoons chest. The both of them laid down in this position a lot more, so this is really nothing new and its something they both grew accustomed too. ''hmm?'' the older responded. ''Have you ehm, well... ever been in love before?'' Soonyoung tilted his head, now facing the younger who was looking at the sky, so basically at nothing. Soonyoung noticed the boy was shying out but still had a nice smile plastered on his face. He finds it adorable. ''Why Jihoonie? Are you in looooooooooooveeeeee?'' The boy just had to tease, he just had too. Jihoon's body tensed up, his cheeks flushing but tried to cover it up by smiling widely. ''I was just curious to know how it felt, that's all. I have had a crush on a noona before, but don't really know if it was just a crush or love.'' Soonyoung smiled widely, his eyesmile growing more and more prominent. The younger saw how the boy laying next to him got up and hovered above him, tickling him, even if it was just mere seconds. Soonyoung knows how to make the atmosphere lighter when it needs to be. It ended in the older laying on top of the younger, resting. Talking about their first crushes and how it felt. Both not knowing if it was real love or not, but one thing was sure... This crush he had right now... felt a lot more serious. It was great yet so painful at times. He felt butterflies, anger, jealousy, happiness but also fear and sadness. If this is what true love feels like... he would want it to last for ever. He had never felt this so strongly for a person, it even scares him at times. He still manages to keep it in and for himself.

I really would like to know what you think so far of this story. It has been a journey, not only for Jihoonie here but also for me.
