Chapter 25

*SLAM* and the door is closed. Everyone stood there watching how the smallest of the group ran away angry as Jun an Minghao revealed their long-waited secret. Everyone stood by the table in the kitchen where they just had celebrated the 'first' relationship in the group, while Mingyu fiddled his fingers and looked at Wonwoo. Everyone was happy, except for Jihoon, who was devastated, angry. Angry on himself, how he could have known but ignored his mind to think things though.

2 days before

Chan had been practically living in Jihoons studio for three days straight, together with the owner himself who was constantly watching over him.. making sure the younger was getting better. Jeonghan finds it endearing and came by every few hours to make sure everything went well. Soonyoung constantly texted Jihoon to see how the maknae was doing, but only visited once since he knew Jihoons secret but didn't want to be obvious about it. Our prince was too scared he might spoil the secret the younger was keeping from everyone and especially from him, but at least he kind of knew why Jihoon was acting so strange lately.

''Thanks hyung, I really appreciate that you took care of me while being so busy. I am sorry I puked all over the floor a couple of times.'' The maknae of the group blushed. ''It's okay, it was the least I could do. Don't worry to much about it.'' Jihoon said while smiling. This made Chan smile too as he hugged the older and carefully made his way back to the dorm. It was time for a really hot bath, now he is feeling kind of okay-ish again. The little composer goes back to his work for now, he didn't get the chance to finish what he was doing 3 days ago, so he still had a lot to do.

The past three days, he had been going back and forth from the studio to the dorm. Making sure Chan had everything he needed to recover. Jihoon had showered, make some light snacks, ordered Mingyu around for some healthy food and asking Jeonghan a lot on what to do. So to say, it was cute and definitely not a sight that they saw often of him. Even though Jihoon didn't get any work done, he liked taking care of the youngest. Although, he would never admit it.

Jihoon gets back to work as soon as he is alone again and soon finds himself engulfed into it. He was working nonstop, it had to be finished. Only Chans voice had to be recorded, mastered and put in place but the final product was in sight.

It was around 3am when Jihoon decides to go back to the dorm. Back to his own bed, back to some good old sleep. Mingyu and Wonwoo were silently sleeping in the room when Jihoon came back. They probably thought that the smaller would stay away for another night but since Jihoon knew, he didn't look suprised.

The small composer sighs and gets rid of his clothing that he was wearing that day. his pyjamapants felt like heaven on his tender skin. He snuggles into his blankets, putting his head on his soft pillow. Jihoon is tired but really glad he finished everything for their comeback. Suddenly he thinks back about Chan being the last one and how he cared for him, that reminded him of the list. He can cross that out and if he was correct... there was only one step left.

The smaller quickly turns around with a smile and grabs the note from underneath his pillow, he lights his phone to shine by, but that is when his smile disappeared. Taking care of someone was indeed step 9, but step 10 is what made Jihoons smile into a straight line. His happiness that he felts only minor seconds ago, faded away into pure hate.

Step 10. • BE YOURSELF 
But the most important thing is someone who is genuine to himself and doesn't change for others.

Jihoon balls his fists which crumbles the paper and shreds it into a few pieces and quickly puts it back underneath his pillow. He punches the pillow a few times and screams into it, trying to be silent enough so the Meaniecouple wouldn't wake up. Jihoon was cursing into himself as he laid awake all night.

 The next morning was suprisingly unexpected. Jihoon came out of bed around 10am... which is fairly late for him. The rest of his members were already drinking coffee or watching a show. Jihoon ignored literally everyone and sat down to get a bit of the black substance too. That's when Jun came in with Minghao. They were holding hands and had an announcement to make.

They gathered the whole group around the coffeetable. The two boys that is known in their fandom as Junhao were giggling. ''So...'' Minghao started.
Everyone was still tired but listened carefully. ''You all know that Carats have their ships right?'' This comment made a few of them giggle. ''My favorite is Soonhoon!'' Soonyoung exclaimed giggling and Jihoon grew a little bit annoyed at this point.

''Well.'' Jun said. ''We want to inform everyone that Junhao is real. For a while now, but we don't want to hide it from you all.'' Jun smiled a lot while Minghao blushed but was embarrassed by the way Jun was explaining this all. Everyone smiled and gave their congrats to the couple while Jihoon let out an angered ''Yeah great.'' and stood up, walking through the kitchen door.

''Whats up with him?'' people began to ask to person they were standing next to. Jeonghan sighed. ''I think I know...'' and he walked out the room too. Jeonghan was doing the math in his head, he knew this day would come. Caring for Chan would be step 9 if he remembered clearly,.. that makes that Jihoon probably had seen step 10 by now. That one step he didn't look at, that one step Jeonghan just knew would make him pissed.

Jeonghan tried to talk to the younger but he was being sent away. Jihoon is the type that wants to be mad alone, therefor Jeonghan just said he wasn't feeling well and he was falling behind on schedule. The members know how frustrated it makes their little composer. They left him alone.
