"A little help here! Luke? Cherry?"
Michael snapped his fingers, beginning to grow angry. Ashton found some more things to knock over. He already had cuts from the broken lamp. Michael was worried. Ashton could get infected or something and Michael definitely did not want that to happen.
"Luke! Cherry!"
Still, the two did not come in and at that point Michael was pissed off.
"Snap the fuck out of it!"
He yelled. And surprisingly, all of them did. (Even Calum, he woke up)
Cherry shook her head, snapping her out of her day-mare and finally entered the room, looking back at Luke with a sad smile. He took a step back and mouthed a small 'no', trying to be nice about it. Cherry shrugged at that and took a seat beside Ashton (Yes, he finally stopped bashing shit around) and Michael kicked a few broken pieces (of lord knows what) out of the way so that he too could take a seat on the floor beside them because obviously he couldn't overcome Ashton, so why not join?
None of them felt afraid, or scared, or mad. They felt.. some kind of relief; sitting together silently with broken pieces of everything around them. It was like that for a solid two minutes until Calum came in with a groggy expression, befuddling with a slurred voice and honestly, no one could understand him. He was mumbling, scratching his head and looking around at his surroundings. Cherry almost laughed. She felt quite bad for the lad. He had slept through the whole thing. Imagine waking up, finding one of your best mates on the floor, fiddling with his bleeding fingers. Cherry knew she would feel awful if the same thing had happened to her. Actually, she'd probably freak out and call the police or something.
Ashton looked up at Calum and patted the space in front of him, acknowledging him to sit down. Calum frowned and stuck out his bottom lip. (It worked every time. What can I say? The boy is good.)
"I don't want to sit. I just took a nap on the floor and my ass hurts"
Calum whined, stomping his bare feet on the floor. Ashton shrugged and continued to fiddle with his injured fingers. Cherry leaned over to Ashton and whispered something which he gladly nodded to. He then began to stand up, offering a hand for Michael and Cherry.
They all walked out and Ashton cracked a tiny smile as he put his arm around Michael while the green haired boy shrieked and moved from him.
Calum broke into a grin for he knew that Ashton could never keep a frown on for too long. (And hey, who would've guessed that confused-lil-Calum knew a thing or two about a thing or two?)
---
Ashton agreed to clean up the mess he made as soon as he heard the front door of the tour bus open. (which meant that their security guards were back from their 'coffee break' that lasted for like, hours- maybe two, or three. But they were safe because they had their bus driver; Ted)
Jack and Rex (their security guards) walked in the living room with a box of Muffins in their hands.
"Michael's mom made you guys muffins, she was on her way here but we knew that you guys wanted to visit your families for the last day that you have here. She told me to give Michael a kiss for her but I'm not so one of you boys will have t-"
Calum jumped into Michael's lap and winked jokingly.
"I'll do it!"
Everyone laughed, watching Calum give Michael a kiss on the cheek. The two boys stared back at everyone.
"Haven't you heard of the new bromance? It's called Malum."
Calum boasted proudly, giving a cheeky smile to Michael. Everyone laughed again. (Who wouldn't? Cal is just- fucking adorable)
"Okay here you go, guys. The rest of the afternoon is all yours. Go anywhere you want, but be careful. We won't be with you. Keep your jackets closed, sunglasses on, hats on and-"
"But it's summer!"
Luke stammered, crossing his arms like a child. (Cherry kind of-maybe-almost-smiled at that)
"I want to run around my hometown naked!"
He said, putting on a thoughtful look as he imagined it.
Jack laughed and shrugged.
"Fine, if you don't want to come back in this very tour bus with your flesh and skin, go, run free naked. Good luck."
Luke smirked. Looking around at the boys. They all looked at him like he was crazy. Except Cherry, she looked terrified. The poor girl couldn't even go out in a tank top, she was too insecure.
"Nah, I like my skin."
When Jack and Rex left to go to their own lounging area of the tour bus, Ashton stood up from the old couch, pulling up his pants high. (He did that a lot when he was up for an adventure) He needed some motivation to be happy- to go back to being himself and not the guy who wrecked the "guest room" that Calum's mother sometimes stayed in when she came on tour with the boys. You see, he liked smiling. No- he loved it. Even to the point where his face muscles hurt.
And, he kind of wanted to wander around Sydney to get his mind off of what got him so pissed to the point where he basically rearranged a room. And if sneaking around Sydney like a motherfucking ninja made him feel happy again, then so be it.
(Besides, he felt bad for making such a bad impression on Cherry so that was another chance to fix his tiny mistake)
