~1 week passes~

"What do you mean?" I asked Zander as I hopped out of bed. I looked at my watch to see it was 2: 43 in the morning. "One of our informative's called not too long ago to tell us The DEA would be showing up to search out one of our planes".

"I need trucks moved out, get me transportation to the spot. Were moving the packages before take off. I want a bomb team there as well, I'm sending a message to their team, and whoever was behind this" I order and hang up. I go to my closet and pull clothes on and run downstairs. The elevator dings and I hop in.

"Why can't you go any faster you dumb shit" I hiss as I kick the elevator. It finally stops and I head over to my car and get in. I'm a ball of nerves throughout the whole drive, I can't lose this shipment.

I park once I'm at the airport and pay off security. I run to where the plane is and watch my men take everything out. "Go, go, now" I order as I run into the plane and help take everything out. 20 minutes later and everything is secured. "I want you to place bombs in the plane, take the drugs out south, call our seas passage and transport it that way" I order.

"Zander I want you to go with the shipment, you know what to do once your near borders. Pay the guards and transport everything". He nods his head and I watch as he leaves. "Are you done yet?" I ask my bomb man. "Almost mam," he says and I smile at that. "were good to go," he says and we get out of the plane.

"Alright, you guys can head back," I tell them and watch them leave. I head out of the airport and head back to my car. I decide to drive to my parent's house, knowing that today is a Sunday, Victor will be there and if he is, the news will most likely be on.

I park once I get to my parent's house and go in. I check the time to see it's nearing 8 am. "What are you doing here?" My mom asks as I enter the dining room. "Wow, thanks for the welcome mother," I say and sit in one of the seats. "It's nice to see you here Venice," my father says and I smile at him.

"Thank you, daddy". I look at the man across from me and smile at Victor. His look is sour, and I know exactly why. "Son, you should see the news" Irina runs in after 30 minutes and exclaims. We all stand up and head over to the living room.

"We have important news," the news person says. "A plane has just exploded 10 minutes ago, the destination was to France. 5 DEA agents were aboard, and 56 civilians" the reporter states. "There is yet to be a reason for the explosion" he ends. My father looks at me and is about to ask a question when I shake my head.

"I cleared it out, shipment should be arriving in France in approximately four or five days tops," I tell him. "Did you do this?" My mother asked. "I'm pretty sure you can ask your son about this," I tell her. "What does she mean?" My mother asked Victor. He looked at me and I smirked at him. "I made a call to tell someone her shipments location. I didn't know this was going to happen" Victor told Dakota.

"It could have cost me millions" I exclaimed and mom looked at me in shock. "That doesn't matter, people died," she said. "Last time I checked, you killed dozens of DEA agents in your time. I don't see why your playing like your innocent" I spit out. "I.." She looked away and my brother glared at me.

"She killed my Underboss" my brother spat. My father looked at me and I shrugged. "It was a means to an end. Just like today. You come at me, I came back stronger, This is a warning" I growl at him. Victor pulls out his gun and points it at me. My mom gasps as my father takes hold of her.

I smile at that and standstill. "Look who grew a few," I say sarcasm dripping from my voice. I take a step forward and watch as Victor unclips the safety lock. "I wouldn't do that" he warns. I step forward until I'm in front of him, and lean my forehead against his gun. "Go ahead," I tell him as I look him in the eyes.

He looks at me saddened and puts his gun down. I take that as my chance and step back and pull my gun out. I aim and shoot him, the bullet hitting him in the shoulder. He falls down and I watch as my mother runs to him. My father takes hold of me and takes a stance between me and them.

"You never pull a gun out, unless your willing to shoot," I tell them. My brother hisses as my mother helps him stand up. "How could you do this" my mom shouts. "Oh please Dakota, if it would've been the other way you wouldn't have given a fuck. Of course, though, it's your son" I hiss.

"I love both of you" she yells. "Do you now?" I asked tears slipping down my cheeks. "It didn't seem like it years back. You were caught in the middle of saving one of us. Who did you choose?" I asked. She didn't answer. "Who did you choose?" I yelled. "You chose him, if it weren't for dad, I would be dead. Why?" I screamed.

"What?" My brother asked. "Did you ever wonder Why dad taught me how to shoot before he ever showed you?" I asked. "For the same reason that, that women choose you over me" I spat out as I pointed to Dakota. "Now. Now you want to be the Almighty. The one who's pure and good. Now. After all the mistakes you have made".

"Go on dad, tell my dear brother why you never taught him how to run the business," I told my dad. "Venice" my father started. "You were weak, your still weak. Mother never wanted you to end up like me" I whispered. "A monster" I roared. "You're a piece of shit" I hissed at my mom.

My mother slapped me and my father shoved me behind him. I didn't even realize I had moved away from him. "There you go Victor," I told him. He was behind Dakota while I was behind Vincent. They looked at each other with intense heat. My mother pulled a gun out and pointed it at my father.

"What are you doing?" My brother asked. "Yes mom, what are you doing?" I asked as I stepped in front of vincent and took a step towards her. She fired at the floor, but I still moved. "Go on" I whispered as I closed my eyes and placed my forehead against her gun. Tears ran down my face and I smiled.

"Go on" I whispered. The gun dropped and I watched as she fell on to her knees and cried. She cried. "I'm sorry" she sobbed. I felt her hug my legs. My tears stopped and I looked at her with pity. "I always wondered why you loved him more than me," I said out loud.

"I always thought I needed to hear those words. I'm sorry. I love you" I said. "But I didn't. I don't. You're a sad woman. I'm glad dad brought me up on his own. Who would want a mother like you" I spat out and moved from her grasp. I tskd as I left the house. I didn't need her.
