Victors p.o.v.

I watched Hugo enter the office and then I heard a loud crash. We all went back into the office and I saw my father crouched down on the floor. He was crying. I had never seen my father cry. "Where's Naomi?" I asked. "Hugo took her into her room" my father said. He wiped his tears away and stood up, at that moment Ashley left.

He looked at me and then at my mother, his face holding hate and anger. "What happened to her?" I asked. My father looked at me and then at my mother and then at my uncle and arabella. "Any of you want to start?" He asked his Russian accent present.

"Niet?". He looked at me and told me to sit down. "It's time for you to know" he said. "A while back, when your sister was 10, you were 9. Some thing occurred" my father started.

"Around that time, there were men in Russia who had it agents me and your mother. I sent your mother to Europe for her first deal and things occurred, and she killed a man. They wanted payback for their brother".

"They thought that they could strike in my home. They thought that by killing my heir they would have payback" he said. "It was summer time, we were celebrating a big deal. We were all down stairs and all of a sudden shots rang out".

"I told told your mother to take you and your sister upstairs, to keep you guys safe". He looked at my mother who looked down at the floor. "I told my men to get ready, and they did. They fought. Everything happened so fast. We were probably in cross fire for at least an hour" my father said.

"More men came in, I never knew that man had so many people on his side while he was alive, it honestly surprised me". "I called your uncle at that time and he arrived at least twenty minutes after. Thanks to him I made it out alive. I honestly have never seen death so close to me in that time" he said.

"I ran up stairs afterwards and made my way into the room I knew your mother would have been in. It was the room facing the pool. I knew that if she had to act fast, she could just jump into it and make it out" he said. I looked at my mother. She was crying.

"When I got there, I saw one of my men hovering on top of your sister. He was raping her, and choking her" my father said his face scrunched up and I saw him cry. "I shot him and another one of my so called trusted men who was trying to get him off" he said his voice horse.

"Your sister pushed the man off and had a similar attack as the one you saw. She was crying and scratching at her skin. Her clothes were torn, her body was covered in not only her blood, but her rapists as well". I looked at my uncle who seemed to be angry.

"I walked to her and she pleaded me to kill her over and over again. She wouldn't even let me come hear her. It took at least 4 hours to get her to stop crying, it was thanks to arabella". I looked at my aunt and saw her wipe away a few tears.

"Your sister couldn't sleep for a whole month. She didn't want to eat. She even tried to commit suicide the first year after the incident. Once she turned 13 I started training her, I decided I wanted her to take over for me not you" he said.

I looked at the floor and remembered the time when he told Venice and I who he had chosen to take over. I was angry that day. "Your mother was found in the woods that night with you in her arms" my father said.

"You probably don't remember much, you were in a coma for a few weeks, I guess you hit your skull after your mom jumped into the pool with you" my father said his voice filled with distaste.

"Why would you leave her?" I asked. My mother looked at me and cried. "I didn't have an option" she cried. "What good would it have been if they would have killed all three of us" she said. "So you left her" I yelled. "I was wrong. I know that" she said.

"I had two miscarriages before her, I was upset. I had postpartum depression after I have birth to her" she said. "None of it explains why you left her" I whispered. She closed her eyes and nodded. "I know" she said. "Your sister was placed in therapy those few years and even throughout it, she never spoke about how she felt" my father said.

"She became who she is today". I closed my eyes and shook my head. "No wonder she hates me" I whispered. My mother looked at me and I looked away from her sight. "You could have done something. You should have done something" I said and got up. "Where are you going?" My mother asked as I headed towards the door.

"I'm going to take a break and think some things through" I said and made my way towards the elevator and clicked the down button. I got in and waited for the door to open again. Once it did I stepped out, headed towards my car and left.
