Hey. Okay, so this is Keefe's POV, and takes place a month later from chapter 9. I hope you enjoy.
Why did I do that? Why did I have to break up with her? Every time I see her in the hall she shudders and runs into the girls bathroom. When I see Fitz, Biana, and Dex, they give me nasty looks. Tam and Linh are gone. I have no friends but Jensi and his crew.
Biana comes up to me one day. "Look Keefe, Sophie might transfer, because of you. No matter what you excuses you give yourself, you hurt her. She shut down. It isn't okay, and you need to apologize." She says sharply. "I know, Biana. I can't bear to see her hurt like this, but I'm not a good choice for her." I say sadly, and turn. She stops me.
"Maybe your head says that, but your heart sure doesn't, Keefe. Apologize to her." "You don't understand. I can't be trusted-with anything. You lost Tam because of me." "Keefe, Tam and I are still together. So are Dex and Linh. You didn't ruin anything but your relationship with Sophie. So talk to her. She's right here." Sophie steps out from behind Biana.
Her beautiful brown eyes look into mine for the first time in a month, but then they cloud over. "I can't do this." She cries, and runs away, crying. I turn to Biana. "What did I do wrong?" I wonder. She shakes her head, confused. "I don't know. See you, Keefe." She calls as she runs after Sophie. I run the opposite direction, out of the building, lean against the wall, and cry.
