As we descended on our journey, I walked at the front of the group. I was just following the small track Anthony had pointed out. I volunteered to take the lead, but frankly, I just wanted to be alone.
"Hey."
I turned to my left to see Jensen. My breath got caught in my throat. He was so... So... Hot!
"So, I want to know more about you."
"Really?" That was unlikely.
"Yep. Just the silly things that don't tend to matter - like your favourite colour."
"Haha, talking about something normal for once." I contemplated the idea. "I'm down for that."
"Good good. So, that Dawson guy, is he your boyfr-"
"No."
Jensen laughed awkwardly as he shifted his bag on his back.
"Well, what about you, do you have a girlfriend?" Please say no.
Jensen took a while to answer. but finally, and thankfully, he said "Nope."
"Now I find that hard to believe."
"I just haven't met the right girl yet. But who knows, I might have already met her, I just don't know she's the one."
"I think I know how you feel."
"Thank god." Jensen's relaxed smile was quickly replaced with worry. "Shit! That came out bad. I didn't mean like, 'Thank god, your lonely'. I meant like, 'Thank god, I'm not the only one'."
I let out a soft laugh. "Jensen, it's okay. I knew what you meant."
He chuckled. "Okay you ask me another question."
"Mmm... I mean this in the best way... But why are you here with us?"
Jensen took a nervous gulp. "Well, this place we're heading: it will answer some of my questions; Show me the truth; and most of all, Anthony's my friend, I'm here to support him."
"Wow. There more than enough reasons."
"Haha. Good. I have to ask you, earlier you seemed sad, then when we were talking you seemed less sad, now you seem distracted. What I'm trying to ask is, are you okay?"
Was I? Was I actually okay? I honestly felt like I was breaking down.
"It's okay Lizzie, you can trust me."
His words seemed so meaningful. However, Dawson told me to trust him once, I did, then he broke that trust. Then again, Jensen isn't Dawson.
"I understand if you don't want to talk about it."
"No, no. I want to. Well, I need to."
For the next hour of our journey Jensen and I told each other everything. It was easy, and comfortable. I told him about Dawson; How I felt; About our imagination power thing; and much more. In return, he told me all about his last relationship. He told me how he thought he loved her. He told me about how she cheated on him - several times - fricking slut.
"What was her name."
"Serena, Serena Panith."
"Yeh what about her." came a voice from behind us.
Seconds later Dawson was walking in between Jensen and I.
"Erm... well." I didn't know what to say.
