"Yes, John. I understand that. Two people told you where the human towns were. But who were the two people that lead the rebellion!?" I almost screamed at a shocked John. My eyes darted over to Jensen who lay almost unconscious. My heart speed up. I needed to get help for him.

"This weird looking woman and her human husband." John shouted back.

It couldn't be them.

It wouldn't be them.

I found myself asking the same questions I had once before. Only days ago.

"Names, John, I need names!" I screamed.

John shook his head. "I can't re- Linda!!! That was it! and Allen! Yeh, Allen!" John screeched.

I chocked on my breath.

It was them.

I struggled to find air as the heat in my body took over.

"Holy fuck, Lizzie!" John yelped. "Your eyes a fucking glowing red!"

Johns words became muffles I'm my mind as my head ached. The dimly lit room span as I stumbled backwards. I nearly fell, but before I could two strong arm caught me.

Jensen?

No, the arms were cold and soothing. It was Dawson. I looked up into his brightly blue shining eyes. The vain's in his neck shone an ice blue, as he pulled me closer.

Being like this, in his arms, reminded me of our first night out of Amora town. The night went lust took over and we kissed. God, I urned for the taste if his soft lips.

"I found you just in time."He said in a soft whisper. His eyes dulled as he stroked the blooded hair out if my face.

"You never lost me." I answered mirroring his whisper.

I knew deep down that my words meant more. More than catching me just then. The meant he would always be there to catch me. No matter what. Suddenly, the thoughts of everything else washed away. It was just me and him, frozen in time. And I knew. I knew there and then what I felt for him. What I had always felt for him.

Love.

It was more than a romantic love. It was a friendship love. A protective friendship of two hearts.

You know what? That felt amazing. To know where I stood with him. To know how far our love for one another really traveled - The limit did not exist.

Getting lost in his eyes lead me to forget a huge problem. "Dawson, you need to help Jensen. He's badly wounded."

Dawson's eyes saddened for a split second then they darted over to where Jensen rested, then onto John. "Hey, shitface." He called at John.

John looked up from the ground to Dawson, worry filled his emotions.

"Sit him up, would yah." Dawson instructed John whilst pointing Jensen.

John shot up like a bolt and ran over to Jensen.

After carefully placing me down on my feet, Dawson walked over to Jensen. He bent down and placed his hands over Jensen's lower leg. Almost instantly beautiful blue swirls radiated from Dawson to Jensen. Mer second passed before Jensen was fully coated in ice.

Sudden realisation clouded my thoughts. "Wait!" I screamed out as I ran closer to the three boys. "He'll freeze, Dawson!"

Dawson looked up at me and smiled. "That's where you can help."

I nervously walked over and bent down like Dawson. I looked at Jenson in fear. How could I help?

"Lizzie, listen to me." Dawson instructed.

I looked at him, ears at the ready.

"I need you to close your eyes and imagine the ice melting. Imagine the cuts gone. Can you do that for me? For him?" Dawson spoke softly.

I gulped and placed my hands on Jensen's arm. I closed my eyes and imagined what I could, but my brain was mush. I felt the heat expand in my wrists.

"Lizzie, clear your mind, then imagine it." Dawson suggested.

I took a deep breath and cleared my mind. Jensen - That's all I wanted to think about. I imagined what Dawson said and I felt relaxed at the sight of Jenson's cuts healing.

"You can stop, Lizzie, he'll be fine."

I opened my eyes to see a normal Jensen. As handsome as ever, with only a couple of light scratches where the cuts once were.

Jensen muttered something in Latin as he sat up.

"Hey sleepy head." I joked as I stroked the damp hair out of his eyes. "Your going to be okay, you need to rest."

Jensen looked at me with his puppy dog eyes. "But I... I want to- to help." Jensen stuttered out.

"Please, Jensen! What's out there is bigger than you. It's bigger than all of us. Dawson an I have some leverage with out powers, but I need you to stay safe for me, Jensen." I tried to plead him with my eyes.

"I don't-"

"Mate. Lizzie's right. Not everyone can be a hero." Dawson said to Jensen as he stood up.

I scowled up at Dawson. I looked back to Jensen only to see John moving towards him with a glowing, deep purple arm.

I slapped it away, and it stung my knuckles. "Don't touch him." I hissed at John.

"Take a chill pill, bitch." John spat as he waked his hand on Jensen's forehead.

Jensen stopped moving. He was knocked out. I jumped up and swung my arms at John but Dawson held me back. "I will fricking kill you!" I screamed.

"I only knocked him out for a couple of hours. That way he'll stay safe." John retorted.

Oh.

I scowled at him anyway. He did hurt Jensen in the first place, I'll get him back for that. He could count on it.
