Rain.

Rain lashing against the windows as you sit together, your head on his shoulder and his arm around your waist. There's a movie playing on TV and you're both caught up in the story, you absently feeding the both of you some popcorn from time to time.

You feel loved. You feel like when he holds you like this, you can live forever, and you smile at the thought of it. Namjoon brushes a strand of hair from your face, smiling back at you and kissing the top of your head as you settle in for a quiet night while the rain paints the windows.

Rain.

Rain drizzling down on you as you try to run after him, laughing at the ridiculous situation you've both gotten yourself into. Your clothes are soaked and you didn't think to bring a raincoat or umbrella, but you've got each other. His bag above your heads doesn't do anything to shield you, but you are both out of breath and laughing, full of happiness.

You feel giggly. You feel like with him, the childlike joy you're having could go on forever. Laughter echoing through the streets, grins and smiles on each others faces. Wet hair and wet clothes, throwaway teasing and racing to find cover. He kisses your cheek, lips tracing down to yours, and you decide that you don't care who sees you.

Rain.

Rain pouring from the grey sky as thunder growls in your ear. He holds you tight, whispering soothing words in your ear and hugging your shaking form. You nuzzle your face into his chest and block out the storm, focusing solely on what he was saying. Namjoon calms you down, wipes away the frightened tears and doesn't let you go for the rest of the night.

You feel safe. You feel like with him, you're secure. Anxieties and worries leave when he's there, your fears calmed by his presence. You know both of you would die for each other, that nothing can tear you apart. You fall asleep cuddled against him, guarded against any kind of danger.

Rain.

Rain was dripping onto you when you kissed him under the streetlights in the evening. You'd gone out with him and some friends, and now, with them waiting to take you two home, you hadn't been able to resist. His lips were chapped and sweet against yours, your fingers connected.

You feel cherished. You feel like he wouldn't let go even if he had to. Even with your friends cheering two meteres away, you can block it all out and just focus on him. It was magical, each and every time you kissed him, happiness and love a strong bond between the two of you. Nothing could mesure against these feelings.

Rain.

On the day of your wedding, and on the day of your daughters birth. It was funny, you said to him, how so many of your happiest memories happened when it was raining. Namjoon smiled warmly and whispered something in your ear. Your eyes lit up, and you looked down at the child in your arms, nodding excitedly. He laughed, hugging the both of you tight.

It was only fitting that she got a name to commemorate your journey. Maybe one that wasn't traditionally Korean.
