"I'm going to ask you a series of questions, and I'm going to need you to answer truthfully".

"Why am I here?"

"I will tell you after you answer, and only if I have the feeling that you're telling the truth. Do you understand?"

"... Yes"

"Good. Firstly. Do you like to hurt people?"

"... I don't like it. I sometimes just have to".

"Explain what you mean with that".

"I have to protect myself. Sometimes others. Sometimes I- don't remember why, but I know it was because I had no other choice".

"Did you grow up in a difficult environment? Did your parents fight a lot? Was there violence in your household, in school, in the neighbourhood or in your group of friends?"

"My father kicks me when he doesn't get what he wants. Other people don't like me, really. I don't have a mother, or siblings. I'm glad I don't".

"Tell me why".

"Because my father would hurt them the same way he hurts me".

"Alright. What do you do in your spare time?"

"I'm not in the house"

"Be more specific, please"

"I walk around the area. I don't have a hobby. I just watch the people going about their day. Sometimes I go to the beach if I want to go swimming and if I can make it on time".

"Have you experienced anything... abnormal while you were growing up?"

"... Sometimes. Sometimes I'd find myself doing things I didn't want to or couldn't remember starting. And I can swim a lot better than my classmates. I can stay under water for hours if I wanted to, but I... don't do it in front of others".

"Do you remember what happened on the 30th of December last year? It was only three weeks ago".

"My birthday? I didn't do anything special. My father kicked me again, but- I-"

"Yes?"

"I-I can only remember blood. So much b-blood. My father was on the ground, covered in blood. And it was on my hands, on my clothes. It was... everywhere"

"Do you remember killing your father?"

"...No. Did I do that?"

"Yes, Taehyung. Yes you did".

"... I-"

"I will answer your questions now. You're here because on the day of your eighteenth birthday, you killed your father at home, with a kitchen knife and without witnesses. You were found hours later, wandering the streets with blood all over you. Police has you marked down as a murderer with the simple desire to harm, but we know better".
