i opened the door for josh to come in, and, when he did, he started kissing my lips down to my jaw.

"wait, that's not what i called you for." i backed away from him and closed the door.

"why else?"

"because you like me."

he hummed. "did you figure that out or did you have to ask?"

"it doesn't matter. josh, you told me that you just wanted to have sex with someone without feelings being involved and here you are."

"i liked you before we started having sex, and i said 'without the other person catching feels.' i didn't say anything about me."

"so? what'd you think was going to happen? we'd start dating? i already told you how i felt about it."

"i'm not like your ex–"

"you're exactly like him. you're just going to cheat on me just like you are with debby."

"did you call me here just to tell me that? that i had no chance with you? because i already know that, tyler!" he yelled.

"you don't know that–"

"i do know. why do you think i stayed with debby? because she's homophobic? it's because it is hopeless between the two of us."

"josh, i can't get you out of my head!" i admitted. "even if i'm just thinking about how much i hate you, i have to hear about you at work, and my friends swoon about you–"

"your friends swoon about me?"

"that's another reason why we can't date, but shut up."

"whatever. i'll just leave."

i blocked the door. "i'm trying to talk to you."

"i'm done talking."

"then kiss me."

josh harshly grabbed me by my chin and collided our lips together, and (like always) it ended going somewhere else.
