"hey, i'm coming over." i said on the phone with kyle, also starting up my car.

"alright, cool. jen and zoey are over too. they just came over."

i cleared my throat. "okay. i'll see you in a bit."

i hung up and began driving out of the parking lot and way up the street, far away from me and josh's penthouse.

i arrived at kyle's place in less than ten minutes, parking and taking the stairs to his apartment, which was on the second floor.

i opened his door (most of the time it was unlocked) and kyle greeted me with a hug. "we haven't seen you in awhile. how's your mom?"

"she's good." i said with a smile.

"how're you? your boyfriend?"

"we're both good, happy."

jenna smiled. "i'm so glad you found someone that makes you so happy."

"thank you; i am too. how've you guys been?"

"well."

zoey scanned me. "you look like you've lost weight? have you only been surviving on dick since we last saw you?"

i felt my face flush as i gave her a nasty look (so did jenna). "zoey, what the hell? don't comment on his weight. you wouldn't like to be in that situation so don't make jokes like that." she said.

kyle gritted his teeth awkwardly. "um, tyler just got here. let's not do that."

"my bad," she smiled, and i couldn't tell if it was genuine or not. "have you seen josh lately?"

"only a few weeks ago at shoot." i answered. i didn't know where she was going with this, or why she was still on it.

"can i be a tiny bit n-s-f-w right now?" zoey looked around.

kyle nodded. "i guess."

"josh is so hot. honestly, i wouldn't mind having him fuck me senseless. i bet he's huge." she fanned herself off with her hand.

i cleared my throat and felt my face heat up.

"that's kind of, i don't know, and you made tyler mad. you know how much he hates him." jenna said.

"or maybe he's blushing because he's imagined it himself."

jenna and kyle choked, and my jaw dropped.

"i mean, we all joke around about there being sexual tension between them, but i don't think tyler's actually fantasized about it. he doesn't even like when we mention it. plus, josh is straight." kyle said.

jenna agreed.

i coughed. "you're kind of getting on my nerves. josh disgusts me. i hate him. i came here to see my friends, not talk about josh."

"he has a boyfriend too."

zoey coughed and checked the time. "awkward. i was just trying to make a few jokes but sorry. i also have to go. i have to cover a shift down at the bar." she stood up and made her way towards the door. "i'll see you guys later."

"lately, she's been acting so weird." jenna explained.

i nodded. "it's fine."

"so when are we going to meet your boyfriend anyway? you two have been dating for how long now?"

"seven months."

"you've been dating for seven months, and we still haven't met him."

"i'll talk to him about it."
