Chapter 7
Author’s Note: So, what do you think about this little twist? Should Moon leave Gailen behind and start a new story with this boy? We’ll just have to wait and see. I would appreciate to have people read this and follow me. :( All of my stories have little reads, but I hope I can achieve at least like 25 or 50 reads in one of my stories someday. I write my stories with a lot of love and dedication and, I hope to someday have reads and likes. If you are reading this, and you like my style of writing, be sure to check out my other stories! I have to update them, but soon enough. If you have questions, please let me know them. If you want me to update any of my other stories, LET ME KNOW. I tend to forget to update them. I know my chapters have been boring lately, but the action will come. I am just trying to figure out where to put it correctly. If I have any grammatical horror, please notify me. Do not correct me, just notify. I write very fast and I don’t notice the things I write wrong. I will try to write more carefully from now on. I edit my chapters right after I write them. I do not change posted chapters, the only exception is when I find a grammatical error. All of my story, plot and dialogue edits will be done before posted; I do not change plot after it has been published. Thank you for reading. Enjoy!

Gailen’s point of view
I have been with these freaks for two weeks and I’m sick of it! Sure, their food is good and the beds are comfortable, but the people make me uncomfortable and sick. The smell of blood is always with them. The metallic scent is driving me insane. I already figured out who the servant of Meridia is. Teeliah, she was an older looking woman. She reminded me so much of my mother. Although, she couldn’t compare to my mother.
I shook my thoughts away as I saw Teeliah walk into the room the Light Warriors assigned to me. She said that by dinner time, I had to get the papers from Ortunn’s office. Afterwards, we have to get out of here. We cannot stay any longer. Plus, I have to find Moon.
Dinnertime came and I slipped off from the table with the excuse I was feeling ill. I had previously told Teeliah to buy me some time. I got lost just trying to find the room I had for two weeks. Imagine this man’s room/office. This place was huge and I only had a dagger to defend me from the dangers within. The armory! I remembered the armory. I made my way to it; weapons and armor all around when I entered. I felt odd without my armor, so I grabbed Leather Armor; a full set. It wouldn’t protect me too well, but I would not wear their uniform armor. The armor had long trousers and a short sleeve shirt; it was brown, the color of the soil. I took a Wooden Bow I found next to their unique bows and a Steel Sword. I also took some Glass Arrows. I put the bow on the quiver with the arrows. I took the sword in my right hand and I made some fire in my left hand.
If these vampires attack me, I will burn them. I thought to myself while I exited the armory. Before continuing my journey towards the office, I stopped by the Alchemy room. I grabbed a few healing potions, magicka potions and a deadly poison. I used two bottles, one for the sword and one for the bow. I smiled as I remembered how my mom taught me to poison weapons properly. All of the arrows were dipped as well as the blade. I exited the Alchemy Laboratory and I crouched.
After almost an hour of hallways, rooms and traps I found the damned office. By Sheor, it’s locked! I hissed. Lockpicks! I remembered I had lockpicks in the small pocket of my trousers. I quickly picked the lock and I was in. His office had a big desk surrounded by bookshelves full of history volumes. Under his desk, he had a safe. Next to it there was a strongbox. Maybe the key is there? I picked it. It was hard, though. I broke a few picks, but luckily I was skilled in lockpicking. There it was, the key to the safe. I opened the safe quietly. I found two journals, a letter, a lot of gold, a gold necklace, a silver ring with amethysts and a weird amulet with an image of Molag Bal himself. I took everything and stored it in the satchel. Before departing, I saw another letter; it was old and very wrinkly. I opened it and read it. It said:
