Chapter Sixteen

I was sitting on the couch in the living room wearing my Ivory colored Trelise Cooper dress with a floral pattern on it and frilly short sleeves which came down a few inches above my knees. With it I was wearing pink pumps which had killer heels, and was probably one of my favorite outfits. And ironically, the designer was one of the most successful designers in New Zealand, which is where I currently am.

Alexis was still asleep so I was pretty bored and didn't know what to do. I already drank two cups of coffee.

I decided to get another one, and just as I was about to call the butler, there was a knock on the door.

I went to open it, and in strolled Yuane wearing a very neon yellow mini dress with black heels and an Ivory canvas bag.

"Hey there! Gonna let me in or are you gonna stare at my dress for a while longer? Oh and I love yours too, by the way." she said, smiling.

I let her in, and she walked to the kitchen, putting the kettle on.

"I'm making myself some tea. Want some?" she asked, getting herself a cup.

"No thank you. I had two coffees already." I said.

She nodded and continued on with her tea-making.

I went to sat at one of the barstools, figuring that I have nothing else to do today. My first media appointment was in a few days, so I have nothing to do right now.

I just sighed and tapped my pink painted nails on the counter, my chin resting on my other hand.

"Why so down?" Asked Yuane and sitting down next to me, drinking her tea.

"Oh nothing. Just bored. Back at home I always had something to do. I even got a job because of my boredom. Here's nothing. I can't even clean the house because of the butlers. Well I didn't do that at home, but still."

"I get it. You want to go out, don't you? If you want, we could all go out to a club tonight. I know a few places." said Yuane.

"Sure. We'll see if we wanna go though. I don't wanna mess up your schedule." I said.

"Oh nonsense. I don't have a schedule for the rest of the week. We can go." She said, smiling. She loves smiling.

Just then, Alexis strolled in wearing a blue mini dress and white heels with her hair up in a very high pony tail.

"Hey girls! What's up?" she asked.

"The sky." I replied and we all burst out laughing.

"Going somewhere?" Asked Yuane.

"No. But every day is an excuse to dress up, ya know." said Alexis with her hands on her hips and tapping her foot on the floor.

"Oh yeah! I almost forgot about the Candy Room!" said Yuane.

We walked to the door, with Yuane unlocking it, and we all went in.

Immediately there was a very sweet smell hitting us square in the face. It was like walking into a candy factory which I have done alot with my little sister Chelsea. Or Chuck, as she prefers.

"Okay the other four containers are this way." said Yuane, with us following her and eating some of the candy which were stacked in bowls around the room.

"This one is all Jelly Bears. There's probably thousands in here, and they are softer than marshmallows. Got them in another country and had to fly them here on my private plane." She said.

"And this one is all peppermint. Marshmallows, jelly candy, hard candy, chocolates, and all types of stuff, all peppermint flavored. You can have some of that too."

So me and Alexis got two more cups, and filled it with the candy.

Two containers left!

We walked around for a while, Yuane showing us the cool art and furniture all made of sweets, and we stopped at a container filled with what looked like skittles or something.

"This is nuts, raisins, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, other types of seeds, and all small foods, all covered in different colored chocolate. I gathered these from factories all over the world. They may sound gross, especially the seeds, but if you taste it you won't go back." said Yuane.

We fillled more cups, and got some trays to put the cups filled with candy on, and walked further.

"The last one over here, is cotton candy. It's strange I know, but that's what I like. There's every color and every sweet flavor you can imagine. Plus it looks really cool." she finished.

We each got some of that too, and walked put of the room.

We followed Yuane out to the gorgeous garden, and there was an awesome picnic sat out for us!

There were no food, just candy.

My dentist is gonna flip out when he sees me after this!

We ate alot. And by alot, I meant three baskets full of stuff.

I was so nauseous when we were done, if I never had candy again, it would be too soon, that's for sure.
