*Chapter Four*

Friday. Sitting at the table in my cozy but expensive dining room, I have read the contract over for the past 4 hours and it's 10 in the morning. I've been biting a black ball point pen out of habit and then, about half an hour later, discovered that the ink flowed into my mouth without even realizing it. That's how hard I was thinking. It took quite a while getting the ink out, but I'm fine now.

Just then, I decided that I'm giving this a shot. At least, if this turns out to be a scam, I have a great lawyer that my mom picked out for me when I moved out "in case you come across trouble." she said.

I got my blackberry out of my jeans' back pocket and called Jeffrey. He answered immediately and it sounded like he was kind of busy because of all the noise in the background. "Hey Jeffrey. Can I meet you somewhere if you're not busy?" I asked. I didn't want to discuss everything over the phone. "Sure. Meet me at the same cafe as last time, same time this afternoon. That good for you?" he asked, then shouted something to someone who is with him and I had to hold the phone at arms length because of how loud it was.

"Yeah that's fine by me." I hung up.

Locking the doors, I climbed into my red BMW and turned the car on, putting in my car charger for my phone.

The ride didn't take long, so I was there in just a few minutes.

When I walked into the cafe, it smelled like roses and coffee. Two of my favorite scents in like, ever.

Jefrrey was already sitting at one of the tables at the back, where there were a window and outside the window, alot of rose bushes. So if this doesn't go well, at least I can make a run for it.

I went to sit right in front of him.

"Hey Princess. So why have you called me so urgently?" he asked, sipping his latte.

"First of all, don't call me Princess. And second, I think I'm gonna do it..."

He just smiled. Didn't say anything, just smiled.

Seriously?

He wasn't even happy? Or surprised?

"Why are you not surprised?" I asked.

"Because I knew you would do it." he said.

"And if I don't?"

"Then I'll have to find someone else to go out with Joe Jonas to a movie premiere."

I stared at him in shock.

"What?" I asked.

"I said..."

"Yeah I know what you said. But seriously? You're not kidding?" I asked.

"Nope."

Okay this is so cool!

"Okay so what now?" I asked him. Now that everything's settled, I have no idea what to do now.

"Now we go get your dress. Everything has already been arranged. You just go with the flow. Got it?" he asked.

"Got it." I said and smiled. I couldn't wait to start with this acting thing!

"So now, me and you are going to meet an old friend of mine. She's a designer and she agreed to give us your whole outfit for free because she owes me a favour." he said and got up.

We got outside, and he unlocked a silver Chery Tiggo.

"In you go." he said.

"But I have a car? What should I do with my baby?" I asked.

"Your baby? Anyway, it will be taken care of. Just get in the car, please?" he asked.

"Fine. But if you kidnap me, I swear I will kill you. I had karate lessons."

He laughed at me, then.

I stomped to the car as he started it.

"Now. Let's go get your premiere outfit!" he said.

My life is awesome.
