Note to few readers: "Sorry this is really short, but its the weekend, so these ones will be much shorter than others. The good point of view is that these updates will come faster than others."
When we got in the car my supervisor buckled me as I continuously shook, the pain rendering me useless. After I was secured, he closed the door and started to drive.
"What do you do in your training?" he clearly said this out of curiosity, but all I could do was mutter quietly as everything built up in my throat.
"Training," I gasped for breath, almost touching my neck, but I couldn't, I still wore my collar. The supervisor clearly didn't get enough of an explanation and tried to get more information out of me.
"What did you do today?"
"Practice," I tried to minimize my explanations to be as small as possible, but the supervisor didn't like that.
"What kind of practice!?" he didn't yell, but he said this as a command, and I worked hard to get the words out.
"Pain endurance, poison," he nodded and seemed a tiny bit calmer, but he still seemed confused. I left it alone, as of now, I was useless and only a burden to my supervisor, we were probably headed to the apartment were I would be left in my room for the rest of the day.
When we had arrived to the destination, the door opened and I tried to extend my foot to touch the floor, but I was barely able to move it. Even after a toe touched the floor I was forced to quickly cease my foot, before I could try again I was suddenly pulled out of the car and carried all the way to the apartment. As we made our way, there were a few people who noticed us, but they didn't bother with us, and only receded back to their own apartments.
Once we had gotten to the apartment my room was opened and I was thrown onto my bed were the supervisor left me and I was left to bear the pain for the rest of the day.
Well at least that what I had thought, the door opened again and the supervisor came in with the plin, tasteless food that I was required to eat. He fed me bit by bit, every now and then giving me water, but the mindlessly lasted for a bit, and he left.
The rest of the day I was left to think, so I decided to wonder about the supervisor's strange behavior. He showed sudden acts of kindness or concern, but immediately after he would appear cold to me. After giving it a bit of thought I give up and just assumed that it was just the way that he was, and would be.
Next came the problem of school, I would have to learn the endurance quickly if I were to get through school without standing out. It was the closest thing I had to a normal life and I stood out much more than I was supposed to.
I thought about this without giving much actual thought, and eventually I was reviewing stuff at school.
"Time to sleep," I heard the voice, and I slowly got under the covers and tried to sleep, but I knew it was useless, with so much pain coursing through my muscles and skin there was no way sleep was possible.
