B: *Robert was glad that she took the gloves, even though his were cold. It was like, after the few years of people using him, trying to make Hyde the dominant one, lying to him and receiving unkindness, he felt he had to give it back to anyone who needed it simply because he didn't get it as a young man*, "see it got quite complicated with who new of mine. Obviously my foster parents knew, my younger brother didn't, he found out, I had to tell some others but it took them time to grasp the concept, others i trusted fully, and one of those lied to me, used me. There were two organisation, out of business entirely now but that is another story for another time", *he winced a little at the thought of that, it was another event which Hyde had been a part of*, "and i guess you could split them into 'good' and 'bad', both knew of my condition and wanted to use me for the greater good and for the bad. Problems arose from both which required more Hyde than Jekyll. So, I guess I've learnt not to tell anyone anymore at all, unless I must", *he explained a little sadly*.
A: Keza listened intently, absorbing the information she was being given. The backstory to the man was pretty helpful in figuring out how he worked. And the orginaizations that were out there before, a danger that she was never aware of made her think of what else she wasn't aware of that might hurt her. She was always quite wrapped up in her own little world, and it was rare that she even imagined of others like herself, unless it was part of her own plans to save herself. She could understand his trepidation around revealing his secrets, and smiled sympathetically. "Thank you for telling me then. It must be hard, having another side that can be used so. I don't think I would be of much use like that. And you're a doctor already, like a one man army really. It's no shock that everyone would want you on their side."
B: "I guess so.." *he thought. Suddenly, a thought came into his head. In fact, multiple did. His brain without warning began throwing so many things from the past at him - just because of their discussion. He began remembering Lily! Someone of whom he hated, in the end. Then Garson - who died quite a while ago now, but it all suddenly started coming back to him. Even his brother (even though they werent officially related) popped into his head: Ravi, and all the difficult times they'd both had which eventually caused him to move away some time ago. Jekyll carried on thinking. He hadn't thought about these things for a VERY long time. He blinked quickly multiple times to get the images out of his head. For instance: he remembered how much he loved Lily at first, how much he trusted Garson and how pleased he always used to be to see Ravi, until it all slipped from under his feet over just a few weeks. He shook his head a little. Was this the trip? The trip that would cause the plates to come crashing to the floor? He felt cold sweat seeping from his palms, a funny fuzzy feeling in his head. Then, for some reason, he thought once again of Hyde; Hyde killing that person last night! They're conversation, the peaceful silence of the area had allowed him to finally reflect. It'd come back to him. He couldn't tell her though, could he?* "Gosh, I feel rather awful all of a sudden", *he admitted, standing up.*
A: Keza stood up by his side in worry, her hands instantly moving up to rest on his arms and keep him balanced should he need it. He had gone quite pale, and she was concerned that being out in the cold too much and the stress might be making him sick. "Why don't you let me take you back home, where you can relax?" She asked, a small spike of fear shooting through her. She had been stressing him out, and he had divulged quite a lot of painful information. Perhaps Hyde was attempting to make an appearance, which would not be good in this secluded area. If she really had to, her caravan was nearby, and she could flee there.
B: "I'm not- I'm not sure", *Indeed, he felt Hyde clawing at his insides. It was something so odd, something too different to other people that it wasn't really explainable. It felt like sections of his mind were falling away, being demolished in fact and rebuilt but really quickly; rebuilt with buildings that had bad intentions, like maybe a criminal organisation. It was like a genuine fight: it was like two groups of people fighting for rights over a piece of land, both sometimes winning and loosing. He closed his eyes tightly, breathed deeply and slowly. Over the years, through all of his research, he had worked out various methods to hold Hyde back - some being thoughts in the mind, others being more physical. Maybe odd for his gender, Jekyll had rather long fingernails for a man (or at least some people would argue). He clenched his fists extremely tightly, his fingernails resting upon the palms of his hands. Some would definitely consider this as over dramatic, but Robert had found that some methods helped to dampen down very specific situations which caused Hyde to appear. His conclusion: if certain features started to show in the next handful of seconds, he'd allow his fingernails to dig into his palms; research had shown him that pain makes him human - as he titled one of his research pages. This time, luckily, he didn't have to claw his palms raw; he unballed his fists, revealing pink indent marks on his palms. His mind reconstructed, and before anything else occurred he told her:* "That wasn't your fault, I was over thinking things".
A: Keza had realized after a few moments that he was not sick, but battling wills. She kept herself firmly at his side, watching him intently. Every moment seemed a struggle for him, and just as blue was fighting to bleed into his irises he shut his eyes tightly. A few more moments of this and he slowly relaxed. Keza felt herself relax as well, not having realized that she was tensing up. She had been ready to run, no matter how fond she was growing towards Robert, Hyde had a reputation, and she would rather not meet him any time soon. "It doesn't matter if it was my fault or not. For now let's just get you home. It's getting a bit late, and I'll have to be going soon any way." Keza explained a bit, smiling softly.
B: *Robert put his large hands before his face. He stared at the pink almost purple marks on his palms where his nails had almost penetrated the skin. Although it was close, he'd not allowed the plates to clatter to the floor. His arms flopped down beside him. Clearly the death he'd caused was only the beginning and quickly he suspected more uncomfortable times to come*. "Sorry if that frightened you, you know it frightens me too", *he admitted in an apology, his eyes darting about the place. He, then, peered up to the sky, indeed, although it was only 4:00pm, it was dimming badly*, "I guess so", *he said sadly. A part of him was telling him that driving her away would be a better way to handle this, for, as he deduced himself, he was surely going to be troublesome*, "I know it may sound mad from what just occurred in front of your eyes, but if you wanted, I have spare rooms if you'd like to stay; I'm sure it'd beat being in a caravan by yourself without heating?" *He offered expecting her to say no which he'd happily except considering what just happened*.
A: Keza shook her head, waving her hand a bit in front of her. "Don't worry about it, I'm tougher than I look. I can handle a little fear in my life." She assured him, breathing a small sigh of relief. If he was worried about frightening her than she was sure that he would be fine for now, but the darkening sky was a danger that she had to acknowledge. He had offered her a room, and she felt her cold bitten cheeks warm. Though she couldn't accept even if she wanted to, tonight would be worse than the night before seeing as it was the height of the full moon cycle. "But tonight is a full moon Robert. I have to go home and restrain myself again."
B: *Robert pulled a face - an indescribable one*, "Ah, well", *he thought about how to word his reply*, "well, if someone were to have a reason not to go somewhere, that'd be a grand reason", *he said trying to bring some amusement to the conversation. Still though, there was that part of his mind that, even though he'd seen so many mad things, didn't quite believe in the concept of a human being turning into a wild animal, not even that, a vicious unnatural one! Split personalities is a genuine diagnosis which he'd heard of from being a doctor; but a werewolf?* "You know what, I've just had a great idea!", *he mused*, "the library shall not shut for a few more hours yet, so I shall go and look for stories, mythology on your condition. How does that sound? Then i will have maybe a better attitude and approach to this?" *He offered*.
A: "I'm sorry, any other time I might accept, but I can't put anyone in danger like that." Keza looked down a moment, a little upset with herself. But she knew it was for the best anyway, she could kill easily tonight. Looking back up, she watched as his face lit up with his ideas. "Well, it could certainly be a help if you were to study a bit. I haven't been in there at all, perhaps they have more than I have. My caravan isn't too far from there, so we can walk together partway."
B: "No, no, please do not apologize, I know for one how it feels to have the feeling of putting someone in danger, I mean, lets face it, I had that feeling just moments ago before now", *he allowed a certain amused but negative laugh to fall from his mouth. Then he paused before adding*: "But yes, I think I shall spend an hour or two in there, maybe I'll find something helpful", *he said, deciding on his idea*, "I could even bring a book or two back - exactly how much, on a scale of one to five maybe, do you know of your condition? Have you ever met anyone else with it? Because if i bring a book or two back, we could study it and make comparisons?"
A: "I would say I know quite a bit, so perhaps three out of five?" Keza thought for a moment, figuring to herself. "I don't know some things but I know most of the important bits." She didn't know how to cure herself, but she was learning, slowly but surely. Before she answered his other question though she hummed, thinking back to her childhood. "I knew two others, but both are gone now. My Father, who passed when I was around six, and the man who turned him, but he dissapeared after biting my father."
