sydney's pov:
i was scrolling through instagram when i heard my name being called
"sydney, you can come up now" i heard jack lightly scream
i headed back up to see jack putting on his jacket and heading to the front door.
"uh and where do you think you're going?" i say as i stop him from opening the front door
"i'm not in the mood, get out of my way before you see my bad side, and trust me you don't want to see it"
"who got you pissed off?"
"it doesn't matter... listen, i have to go"
"please... stay"
"why the hell do you want me to stay so much"
"i just... i-i uh i could use the company... and you could too... i mean do you really have anything better to do?"
"what do you have in mind?" he says finally letting go and agreeing to stay and hang out with me.
a huge smile forms on my face.
a few hours later...
jacks pov:
me and sydney we're watching a movie when i turn to her and ask her something
"tell me the truth" i ask her as she turns her head to face mine
"what do you mean?"
"why did you want me to stay?" i say while i compel her
"i heard what kelsey said to you. also, i like you... sooo yeah"
"it's not nice to eavesdrop" i say trying to make it a joke
"so you and kelsey used to be a thing?" she ask with such curiosity in her voice
"key word used to be" i look down remembering what she had just said to me
"what happened?" i feel her place her hand on my back trying to comfort me
"i cheated on her..."
i feel hands her as she lifts my face and makes me look at her.
she cups my face.
our eyes staring deep into each other's soul...
"why do you like me? you shouldn't want me to be apart of your life... i'll only ruin it"
"i don't believe that"
i get up off the couch with such anger
"YES I WILL" i say with a roughly loud voice.
"i'll ruin yours, just like i ruined kelseys"
she gets up and grabs my hands this time.
"you won't hurt me"
"yes i will, ill ruin you"
"no you won't, give me a chance"
"and what if i fuck it up just like i did to-"
i got cut off mid sentence
"listen, i'm not kelsey... and i know you won't hurt me."
"but-" before i could say anything else i felt her soft pink lips on mine.
i kissed back.
i felt fireworks everywhere.
soon this turned into a whole make out sech.
it got to intense that i felt the veins come out underneath my eyes and i could feel my fangs.
i turn around making sure that she didn't witness any of it.
but once again i feel her hands on my shoulder as she makes me turn back to her.
she feels the veins under my eyes then cups my face
"don't hide from me" she says with a soft voice then i felt those same lips back on mine.
a/n: i honestly don't know how to feel about this book but my goal is to continue writing it. so i will.
