before i could head to class
i went to my new locker.
i put in some textbook and other supplies.
and then i headed to first period.
which was ap english.
i walked in and told the teacher that i was new and he gave me a packet then he told me to take a seat anywhere because there was no assigned seating. so i took a seat in the back of the class.
"alright class let's get started" he says as the second bell rings
5 minutes have passed and someone walks through the door.
grayson.
"nice of you to join us grayson" says the teacher
"i could never skip my favorite class" he says filled with sarcasm
"just take a seat"
graysons eyes meet mine as he walks towards me
"is this seat taken"
"uh no" i say as he takes a seat next to me
the period had ended and as i was putting my notebook away grayson talks to me
"thoughts on mr.diaz?"
"mr.diaz as in our english teacher?"
"no as in our science teacher"
"very funny, he was okay i guess.
he looks like he's a pain in the ass though"
"he is" he says with a chuckle
"so any other classes we have together?"
"we have gym together" he says as we start walking out of the classroom
"so ill see you 8th period"
"yeah uh see you later"
it was now lunch time
instead of heading to the cafeteria i went to the woods.
i was starving. i just had to get a bite.
but as i was walking towards the back exit i saw graysons girlfriend arguing with this other girl. and the she slapped her and left.
i walked up to the poor girl asking
"hey are you okay?"
"oh you saw that"
"yeah what's her deal?"
"oh just that i kissed her boyfriend" she says while looking down at the floor
"woah didn't expect that"
"yeah grayson and me had detention and we were in charge of cleaning the gym and well he was just very sweet and i thought we were having a moment and well i kissed him... and vanessa saw"
"vanessa?"
"uh yeah that's um her name"
"hey um do you want to eat lunch together" i ask hoping to make a friend
"sure yeah i um usually go to the woods during lunch..."
"oh really i was planning on going there" i say surprised as we start walking
"hey uh what's your name?" she asks me
"kelsey... i'm new here"
"oh you're the new girl!"
"that's me"
"well nice to meet you kelsey i'm sydney"
time skip: 8th period, gym.
me and sydney instantly became friends. we have a good amount of classes together like gym. which i also have with grayson.
i entered the locker room finding my new locker which was near sydney's
"gym sucks" sydney says as we start changing into our gym clothes
"i bet" i say as i put on a t-shirt and some sweats.
"you ready?" sydney asks me
"yup let's go"
we walk into the gym.
i see grayson with vanessa and his friends.
"everyone find a partner and find a station" the gym teachers screams out
me and sydney we're partners and sat down at a station that had some weights.
"hey can we also be in this station"
i look up to see vanessa
"sure?" i say
we started working out and i had a feeling that someone was looking at me. it was grayson. he kept staring at me...
gym was over which meant it was time to go home. i changed back into my other clothes and me and sydney walked to her house of course through the woods.
"nice ring by the way, where did you get it from" she says examining my ring on my finger
"oh um it was a gift from my ex boyfriend" i say embarrassed
"why do you still have it if it's from your ex?"
"uh you know just cause it's a really unique ring so i wanted to keep it" i say as i hide the fact that this ring actually allows me walk in the sun.
jack gave it to me when he turned me.
"so how long have grayson and vanessa been together?"
"they've been on and off for a year"
"damn"
"yup she's a toxic one" she says as we arrive at her house.
we walk through the backyard and sydney opened the door and went inside while i was still outside.
"are you not going to come in?"
"you should probably invite me in...
i mean it's the first time i'm coming into your house"
"your strange... see this is why we are friends! come on in kelsey"
a/n: so basically if you watched the vampire diaries you know that vampires can't enter a house if they aren't invited in. but once they do get invited in to that house they can easily enter whenever they want.
also, the ring that kelsey has is a daylight ring which allows vampires to walk in the sun. without that ring they would burn alive.
