"hey who is it?" "oh just um my mom anyways i got to get home now but i'll text you" i say as i give her a hug goodbye "bye kels"
since sydney lives close i got to my house quick. as i was walking up my driveway i look at my porch to see grayson already sitting there on the steps. "you are so slow" he says getting up "sorry i actually have stuff to do" "what like hanging out with your new bestie" he says sarcastically "yes, like hanging out with my new bestie" i say as i open the door with him following me from behind as we walk into my room "woah nice room" he says as he was amazed by my amazing decorating skills "thanks anyways why did you want to hang out?" "because i was bored" he says while he takes a seat at the edge of my bed "what does your boredom have to do with me?" "everything" "so what's the plan?" "i wanna take you somewhere" "where exactly?" "somewhere cool now come on let's go" he says heading up to my door "fine" i say getting up we exit through the back and start heading into the woods "you cold?" he asks me due to the fact that i was wearing a crop top and it was pretty chilly outside "no... but we're you planning on giving me your sweater if i was?" "maybe" he says as he stops walking and looks at me "well in that case yes i am cold" he takes off his sweater and passes it to me "why do girls love wearing guys clothing?" "cause it's cute and i don't know we just love it" i say stating the obvious "i love it too it looks way better on you anyways" he says as he makes the gap between us disappear. i put my hand on his chest as i back up from him "aren't you dating vanessa?" "yeah and?" "we should keep going" i say then he starts walking again leading the way about 3 minutes of awkward silence pass till we finally arrive to our destination. it was an abandoned park in the middle of the woods. "here we are" "so you wanted to hang out with me to show me this?" "also cause maybe i just enjoy your company" he says looking at me again we were staring at each other for a few good seconds till i broke it "race you to the slide" i say as i push him as start running to the slide a few minutes pass of us just fooling around and acting like little kids. now we were on the swings. "what happened between you and your ex? you don't have to tell me if you don't want to or don't feel comfortable talking about him" i hear him say out of no where it was quiet for a second until i spoke up. "his name was jack. he was my first real relationship. we were together for about a year and a half. i loved him. out of everyone he was the one never left. he was the one who made me feel most alive. until one day we were at a party and i had left him to go to the bathroom. i come back and i see him shoving his tongue down some girls throat..." i say whipping the little tears that had done out of my eyes as i remember that horrible night. "guys can be dicks" he says as he grabs my chin pulling it so i can be looking T him now. "that's were you are correct" i say as he puts a strand of hair that was in my face behind my ear. our lips were inches away. "i should get home" i say backing away "oh um yeah let me walk you" i nod as we both get up and start walking.
we had arrived at the back of my house. "thank you for hanging out with me" grayson says "yeah surprisingly i had a fun time" "till our next hang out kelsey pierce" "bye grayson" i say as i was about to walk into my house until i heard him speak again "you can call me gray" he says "you can call me kels" i say as we both form a smile on our face. "goodnight kels" "goodnight gray"
